    #1a. Marquez
    1b. Pac
    3. Donaire
    4. Martinez
    5. Mayweather

How is Marquez #6 after beating the #1 on the world 2 weight divisions above his weight division??? Some kind of joke?

Now ward beat a top 30 fighter in his weight division. That puts him over Marquez??

Donaire stopped a top 10 fighter, 3 division champion, but still below Martinez?

May beats the Great Ortiz a top 30 p4p fighter at the time and that puts May at #2

    Ring is a joke. :rofl

Cotto should not be in the top 15, top 25 at most, once he starts fighting and beating the top 3 fighters IN HIS OWN division and other divisions then that's when he can enter the top 15.

They had Cotto in there at one point. I think it was Hopkins who snatched it but after the whole Dawson debacle he was thrown out of there and Vitali took his position.

    1 - Manny Pacquiao
    2 - Floyd Mayweather
    3 - Sergio Martinez
    4 - Nonito Donaire
    5 - Andre Ward
    6 - Juan Manuel Marquez
    7 - Wladimir Klitschko
    8 - Pongsaklek Wonjongkam
    9 - Timothy Bradley
    10 - Vitali Klitschko

i still don't like this list. p4p is about achievment in your divison and winning in other divisions.

    1. Manny
    2. Floyd
    3. donaire
    4. wladimir klitschko
    5. Marquez (he struggled with katsidis, humilated by floyd and lost a close dec to pac) how in hell should he be in the top 3???, i would even take him out of the top 10
    6. Andre Ward (if he beats bute, then he will get the third spot)
    7. Vitali
    8. Martinez (look at his ****ing resume, he is good, but he is not even close to anyone from the top ten list in achievements)
    9. Wonjongkam
    10. Gamboa

Bradley is in the top 20, not in the top 10

I think Abner Mares belongs in there, no?

    Pretty good list though.

watch GBP tries to manipulate the ring rankings by carefully moving cotto up even without fights to hype the fight more just like when they carefully move shane mosley up the rankings when he is about to fight floyd and pull hopkins down.

You think they would do that with the ring? I havent noticed **** like that eventhough I always look for them to be biased.

just a hunch. they did it to mosley before he is about to fight floyd. he was ranked somewhere initially at 6 or 5 after the margo win but was already #3 by the time of the floyd fight. at the same time, they moved hopkins down to pave way for shane. my guess is that cotto might enter the top 10 just for a few hype.

but looking at their list now, the top 10 is pretty stable so the mosley case might be an isolated one.

yeah could be but for example they never put floyd over pac since his comeback, never put khan in the top 10 despite ranking him over bradley after judah at 140, having hopkins only briefly at 10 since beating pascal.
Im worried that because of the relocating of the headoffice to la they might influence the rankings more, but so far there hasnt been much proof allthough I hope it wont turn into wbc/wba stuff in the end.

Vitaly and Wladimir in top 10? let alone top, 4 :rofl look at their opposition, weakest resume your top 10, they have all the advantages, they supposed to win, but hey, Marquez got robbed against the #1 in the world, was supposed to get stopped in 3 rounds, then you have Floyd who's last two opponents have been Mosley and Ortiz at #2:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl:rofl
Marquez should be top 2 at the very least.

    Martinez behind Vitali:!:

you are mexican, right, sorry to destroy your world but marquez is not anymore a p4p top ten guy. wlad's resume???

haye (former undisputed cruiser weight king), peter (former titleholder), chagaev (unbeaten titleholder and amateur standout), chambers (great prospect with very good wins, rahman (former heavy champ), thompson ( underrated contender who earned his shot), brock (unbeaten top contender), ibragimov (unbeaten titleholder and olympic silver medalist), byrd (champ)
how in hell is this resume bad??? imo it is better then martinez, marquez (he hasn't won a big fight in ages, he wasn't robbed, he lost a close decision, thats not called robbed, oh sorry you are mexican, then it's robbed:rofl)
    now vitali:
adamek (former cruiser champ, and l.heavy titleholder who earned his shot), solis (one of the best heavyweight amateurs of all time, and unbeaten), sosnowski (****), arreola (unbeaten mexican american hope:deal, who was hyped up to beat old vit), briggs (former titleholder but ****), jc. gomez (former cruiser champ and great contender), peter (titleholder at the time)
ok, if you don't like the heavys and deny the KBros greatness, it's okay you are a mexican dumbass who is a patriotic and can only like americans and mexicans.

the heavyweight division is as strong as always, there are just no americans left because eastern europe can compete at heavy, and this happens if you call someone world champion and not an all american champion:hi:

They let Ortiz leapfrog Mosley after he beat Berto, because otherwise Pacquiao-Mosley would've been #1 and #2 (as Mayweather was inactive at the time and removed from the list) and they would've had to award their belt to the winner.

They moved Hopkins down because of the fight with Jones where he looked terrible.

The strangest one for me was when they had Bradley on the P4P list but behind Khan on the JWW rankings, it wasn't as if his one fight at welter was against a quality opponent.

They seem to dig a hole for themselves sometimes.
