I suppose Hopkins is a good candidate once you reach back into his early Middleweight years. The molds didn't change too much, but the way he applied all of his tools certainly shifted a lot over such a long career.

I suppose Floyd has transitioned so gradually that we didn't notice it as much as we would with someone like De La Hoya or Leonard. His stances, favorite punches, and defensive habits have remained largely the same, but he does switch up the modes of attack a lot. Splitting his career in two would be an effective way to mark the changes on a broad level; pre and post-140. He's not one of the most glaring examples, but he's changed a considerable amount. Good explanation.

Floyd has shown a lot of different "hats" recently. Chris John is another lesser known fighter that has done the same.

Barrera changed his style drastically from slugger to boxer-puncher.

Ray Leonard is probably the epitome of giving the most looks, stylistically.

Floyd and Barrera aren't bad picks; I'd say both became more refined and were later able to do a lot of different things (coming forward, counter-punching, fighting on the inside) with a lot of the same trademark punches and defensive measures.

What different looks have you seen Chris John give in different fights?

He's added some new tricks, but I don't know about giving us different styles to look at.

The fact that great threads like this die down and fall several hundred pages back from the top at only 3 pages of length (while the umpteenth thread on the same played out topic with the same fanboys and trolls spouting same **** reaches 100) is just proof of all the bad things people say about the ESB General Forum. :verysad
