Pac was being written off as a easy fight for Floyd after Marquez did so well against him. So do you think Cotto at 154 has a better chance of beating Floyd than Pac would have at 147?

I would say Cotto, his last performance was one of his finest.
As you said, Pac's last performance was a tad disappointing.

I fully expect Mayweather to beat the both of them. Having said that Manny would have a greater chance imo, he poses more stylistic issues and is simply the better fighter than Cotto

There's a reason why fans are desperate for a Pac-May fight.

Manny without a doubt. Even though he might be taken to school he presents that level of threat. Would anyone be shocked one bit if Pac got to Floyd? I wouldn't. I won't expect it but it wouldn't shock me.

Floyd has orthodox styles timed (see his fight with JMM), Cotto is easy work for him in his textbook offense and orthodox stance. He is also slower than Pac, you need speed to hit Floyd. It doesn't matter how heavy you are if you can't put your hands on someone.

Should be easy work for Floyd barring a lucky shot. He looks great against these kind of boxers who are polished and rely on timing.

No, Pacquiao is the far superior boxer. Pacquiao has an effective right hand and a devastating left. Cotto has an effective left hand, and a complete **** right.

Love Cotto to death, but sorry, no, he doesn't have a better chance than Pac. He has a chance to make it a fight, but very little chance to actually win IMO

Yup. Cotto is very skilled and technically sound but also very predictable. Floyd will figure him out.

And i vote for Pac because he has dynamite in his hands and can unleash blazing combinations from all angles and can close the distance with his feet better than anyone.

What makes Mayweather vs pac so interesting is the volume of punches that Pac throws every round. Far more than Floyd (he throws very few ounches but lands with accuracy) or anyone Floyd has fought before.

That being said, Floyd is very good at dictating the tempo and pace of the fight and fighters tend to throw less punches against him in a round than they typically do.

Cotto vs mayweather will be interesting to see which one of them chooses to be the aggressor and move forward.

Mayweather beats both of them (if Pacquiao is ever willing) with ease.
