Dirrell said he's fight him, but not in Canada. Has to be neutral, like in CALINFORNIA... :patsch

I like Dirrell, but if he';s going to act as his opwn promoter, he needs to wisen up. If ALL of Canada cannot be neutral, how is his own country neutral?

Dirrell hasn't come close to having the ability to call shots like that. :-(

So a loss to Froch and a win over Hanshaw is key in backing up a statement like "Dirrell's resume is better than Bute's". Interesting.

...has nothing like 'a loss to Froch'? Well, no. I guess we should also consider Froch's loss to Kessler and Kessler's loss to Ward as positive arguments in supporting those respective resumes. Thanks but no thanks, I'll stick to W's.

Dirrell made him look slow, that's very true. But he didn't use the approach of a hungry challenger, he fought like a slick champ who just wanted to do enough to win on points. In this case, running all over the ring. Dirrell did not dominate Froch however, and he fought very negatively. There goes your chance for a W.

Bute's resume has a 'shot Taylor' equivalent. Glen Johnson.

Too bad it's irrelevant here, as we were comparing Bute/Dirrell resumes.

If we can assess wins from the different eras using hindsight, we can assess Arthur Abraham in hindsight. AA could not beat top 10 SMW's... yet was tagging Dirrell on a regular basis after the tenth bell, and a DQ win doesn't carry much value. Ask Jean-Paul Mendy (vs Bika).

All Dirrell has is Oganov. Bute has Bika early in his career, recognized puncher Berrio as the champ he beat, the first eleven rounds of Andrade 1, Andrade 2, Miranda, Magee and Johnson. And because a lot of Dirrell fans will consider 'being in the S6' a positive argument for Dirrell since Abraham seems to get elevated (beat shot Taylor who wasn't a SMW) via S6 status, you must consider GJ as a semi-finalist in the tourney looking really good in rounds 7-8 vs Froch.

I wonder what kind of offer, what kind of purse THEY would present Bute with for a Bute-Dirrell fight in Detroit. Assuming they are fully fledged promoters capable of dealing with everything from A to Z...

    30K? 45K maybe?

    I never said 2nd round.

I actually like Taylor and I think JT was Froch toughest test, and normally if he wasn't that over the hill and flawed (stamina wise especially) he would have won the fight.

I guess that's the way to put it so Dirrell could understand it.
You want 60k In US or 600k In Canada ?

  5. Ward is God's chosen fighter. He won't lose.

I look at it this one.. Abrahamn was a Middleweight King who had an 0.. Dirrell Knocked him down dominated him till the point of the DQ

Bute doesn't have anything like that..

The way I look at it.. its just like Martinez win over Sergi Dzinziruck..

Bingo. Deal should have been done mid week. Something's not right... what is it that's holding it up though? Interbox's facebook page has the rep saying they do not have a scheduled press conference at this time. But ****, it's been what, 3 months since his last fight? Why did they book the Bell Centre for April 14th if they didn't have an opponent? Was that business call based on the Froch home & away fight deal?

Jean Bédard OWES Lucian's fans explanations. I'll dump **** on their boards, facebook, whatever so much if they get him a stiff. None of George, Andrade, Gonzales, Rodriguez, Stevenson will do it for me. And I sure hope to **** it's not Allan Green. I hope Bédard's ego won't get in the way of moving the date (rebooking) or cancelling it (fighting elsewhere) if they absolutely must do just that to get Ward, Froch, Dirrell or Pascal in that order.

Well Froch was with Satan, but I think Bute is with God to... or at least with virgin Mary and sometimes the men of the house do as the wife tells him to. So you don't know who's winning. Also if Mary say so God might not interfere in their fight. :yep

Nahhh Miranda, Bika, have no notable acomplishments.. tough opponents no past belts didn't come in with "0"..

Dirrell has fought the better class fighters..

Bute hasen't stepped up his class in opponents.. thats all I was saying..

Against Froch and Abraham, Andre Dirrell was not terrible did many things well also did some things that were not great but all in all I can judge him better as a fighter based off the class he has been in with..

    No so with Bute..
I think that is a Fair point..
