Donaire's looking most dominant currently. He's sparking good guys where Mayweather and Ward are winning decisions.

Seems the likely outcome judging by Vasquez Jr's style. He didn't seem one to be able to mix it up and play safe in the Arce fight, it was fairly brainless stuff.

Features everyone in a realistic weight division, whether he believes it or not.

Cheers, i haven't seen a lot of Jr but feel the Arce stoppage must bear something in this fight. He's also tried **** Donaire off getting in his face and i don't think that's a good idea.

Stick down a stoppage on my accumulator..

Vasquez Jr/Arce was attritional stuff, a war really. And he lost it, against a guy with Arce's wear and tear :huh

Either way if he fights like that he'll get smashed, he's going to have to have much more regard for defence, but he's still got to pressure Nonito as he's near impossible to beat at range. Tough balance to strike.

I've been firmly on the WV2 train since the beginning, so it's a shame that his complacency against Arce has led him to this scenario, where he's basically being utilised to bed Top Rank's next ''star'' into the division before he takes on bigger and better foes. I'm still on that train though, I believe he'd trounce Arce in a rematch(and SHOULD have done so the first time), where he'd go in actually knowing that getting into a war is idiotic. He's got all the basics nailed down and is still improving, I still had high hopes for him.

Shame he's being sacrificed, a steady rebuilding process and he could very feasibly end up as the division's #1 in the future. He's a boxer-puncher more so than a banger, but he'll be forced to try to make his own openings here, which will lead to his downfall. Even if he doesn't, he hasn't got the defensive mastery of a Narvaez that would enable him to spoil his way through the fight. He's a proud and to a degree naive fighter though, he'll probably throw caution to the wind at some point, hasn't got the experience for this kind of fight yet.
