If he lost his passion, why not just cash out by taking the 40-50 mil he was going to make against FLoyd and retire?
Because he hasn't lost his passion and this is just bull**** excuses.. But I'm sure the responses you'll get are he's trying everything he can and Floyd won't fight him.
Believe it or not since moving up he's been getting accustomed to counterpunching. *****s in 3....2...
of course he has....who the hell would still be excited with doing something over and over and over again he's not hungry, if he was still hungry he wouldnt be meddling in politics seems like his new passion is fighting poverty, not bashing people's heads in the fact he didnt try to kill Margarito shows he has no killer instinct anymore. Margarito was ready to go down and Pac let up.
i thought that was his best option. losing to bradley is not the best way to go out. at least if he lost to floyd he could say he lost to this eras best. bradley is very good but he's very unknown and losing to him will do nothing for pac's legacy.
In the end... Pac is a savage. In order to shine he needs another SAVAGE. Manny is a fighter, Not a boxer. P4P status & all the media attention has ruined him. (Check Rocky III)
Hatton KO was a beauty but again, a tailor made opponent. Can't deny that. Yeah we can. Love how he fought against Marg and Cotto but he hasn't impressed me at all lately. Even in those fights he made sure he had every advantage he could instead of manning up and beating people in the best condition they could be in. He waited for JMM to get too old but that backfired! You forgot reason for facing Martinez at his weight: I don't wanna get hurt again - Manny Pacquaio No, snipers and marines need "killer instinct" when pulling the trigger on an enemy. Boxers are either good finishers or they're not. I wanna see guys put on clincs, great battles, or finish opponents. They may kill on occassion but the goal is to get the ko and/or W.
Well your examples in the first post were Cotto and Hatton fights. I was looking for examples in those fights he showed killer instinct. If you mean over his whole career, I agree he's not as passionate. But I don't see him losing his killer instinct in his last two or three fights, just harder styles for him to deal with.
Didn't look like a complete savage at all against Mosley. I wasn't sure if they wanted to fight or **** :barf. Jokes aside it's hard to have passion after so many fights TBF but why not just cash out and stop making so many excuses as to why you can't fight Floyd?
Yeah, like a flat footed Margarito? Remember Pac kept on talking to the referee asking him to stop the fight. He's even asking Margarito if he can continue to fight. I thought a flat footed fighter would bring out Pac's killer instinct? Pac stopped stepping on the pedal as soon as he saw Margito's face was busted. You Floyd fanboys are delusional. Pac of old would murder Margarito that night without hesitation or compassion.
