Prime haye was a bodybuilder. If David fought in the 1960s he would be a lean 180lb - haye is not big boned and he is not the 6'3'' he claims to be. Look at his feet when he jumped on the table that time, he takes a size 8 shoe, he is not a natural heavyweight anymore than evander Holyfeild, chris bryd, Michael moorer and james toney were.

Cruiserweight is not a real species of human. I believe super heavyweights can be a genuine class so lng as a six foot five man looks as in shape as a light heavy - a longer limbed middle - which IMO is a real species, but not cruisers. There are fat light heavyweights or thin heavyweights. It used to be that a heavyweight was as in proportion as a well put together middleweight only bigger. Joe Louis was 200lb with a 37 inch waist but not fat. Today with diet and bodybuilding programmes a fighter can make any weight but look at them!! they don’t look natural. little heads and built up necks.

Cooper had a fighters heart, a thing absent in Haye.
