    what took them so long?

not sure exactly, looks like Peterson probably has a bigger fight lined up than Khan...so might just vacate the WBA....technically Khan could then face Maidana for the vacant belt...though not sure he wants to though.

Khan would beat Ortiz, he had a career top performance against Berto but that was one lucky night IMO

I'm sure he wouldn't turn down a shot at Khan for a vacant title.

boxing still in a sad state of affairs.

    berto needs to fight ortiz.

    khan needs to fight peterson.

    marquez can fight bradley.

    alexander vs maidana.

    judah vs matthyse could rematch.

some great fights can be made.

i cant see how Khan could possibly beat Ortiz if im being honest.

Ortiz is a huge puncher, very aggressive and very athletic.

then you have Khan who in my eyes still thinks he's in the amateur ranks. Tap and move, tap and move.

he'll win a few wins with his cowardly running style, but eventually he'll get tagged by Ortiz.

Tbh man i'd be well happy with Khan Ortiz also Bradley Pacquiao is looking like happening as well . Pacquiao Bradley should be quality I think .I like Marquez Peterson as well .Alexander Maidana not still happening boxrec have it .Judah has an IBF title eliminator I wouldn't mind seeing Judah Peterson either.

Khan would win, imo. Might do it more comfortably than people expect too. Ortiz is a trip.

  12. I feel Ortiz (assuming he comes in focused like against Berto) will stop Khan, Khan is a weak 140lber hes gonna be considerably smaller and weaker than Ortiz at 147lbs, Ortiz will walk through (bobbing and slipping) Khans arsenal, attack in bursts and when he lands those short hooks and uppercuts he'll put Khans lights out, no way does Khan win this fight.

Let's make this happen, Khan at 147 watch out.

  14. Oh no! The powder puff punching 140lber, with a limited skillset and wobbly chin Amir khan is moving up to 147, ahhhhh I bet all the welters are quivering in there boots..:patsch

Powder puff? I'm sure Graham Earl will disagree on that one.
