Bute: Ward if you won't fight me than who will you fight ?

    I hope that to men, England or wherever that fight should be done by all means.And it's one of the few fights that the money can be close to what he gets in Montreal. The only thing that he should make sure that he get's and fight for in negotiations is fair judges and a referee that doesn't allow holding and hitting. He needs a big fight and that's the biggest he can do right now.

    I feel like thigs aren't going his way with Showitme. I heard a rumor that he has an HBO offer on the table and can reply any time he wants, he could be waiting to see Wards next move so he would know what to choose HBO or Showtime. The things that keeps him from pushing for these fights all the way is the he doesn't make decisions for himself only but he is the locomotive of a Boxing Company - Interbox and he's the kind of guy who doesn't put the foot in the floor and force there hands but they should understand that he needs to take risks to go to England against a crowd full of excited and intoxicated brits cheearing they guts out for their men with a feminine voice that is above everybody else in acoustic decibels yelling something that you'll think it might be ripped out of a porn movie:
    C'mon baby!! C'mon Frochy!! :lol:

    Damn Shame that Dirrell acts like a ******ed kid and doesn't want to go where the fight make more financial sense, but if the Froch fight ends up being prospered for later, he should try and lure Andre Dirrell to a place where like Atlantic City where there will be some fans that will travel to see it. Anyway the Froch fight is the fight that will give us some more satisfaction and we're entitled to it.

    IDK maybe he should agree with what Showtime wants I think they pressure him in signing another contract, but now in Froch's mind has already been flourished the idea of a home-fight and might be locked on it right now.

    Showtime wanted an American and European in the finals, they didn't care who. But that's what they wanted.

    You are ****ing moron if you think Showtime wanted a German and a Dane fighting for the Finals. Yeah, killer rankings in the US indeed. Why do you think they are blocking Bute/Froch? No American..duh!

    Here's hoping Dre will man up and take the April fight in Canada.....cuz if he don't.....................his brother will. And even in losing to Bute, Tony Dirrel will leap well past his brother in terms of fan popularity simply for taking the fight.

    If Dre wants to ever fight Lucian on his own terms he should first aggressively seek out a belt. Even a minor title like the IBO or WBO. Even if he has to travel to get it.
    He could go to Germany and make 100K and BEAT Steiglitz IMO, and then he could get Lucian to Windsor/Detroit, on his terms.

    I thinks it's fair to say that Kessler is fighting Ward instead of Steiglitz, and if Froch is eyeing Abraham for May, Dre won't take the April/Canada date, maybe we can get Dre/Steiglitz out of all this mess.:think

    Andre Dirrell has not tweeted since Tuesday, presumably since he talked to Espinoza at Showtime. In the article where he says he's leaving both Haymon and Shaw, he says he's scheduled to talk to Espinoza 'in a couple of days'.

    No news is.. good news? ..bad news -- Andre is depressed he has zero promoting power?!

    He should fight Bute in Canada for a couple hundred G's. :good

    With the Showtime $$$$$ and a 35% gate/tv take he'd likely get around 1.25 mil. Close at least to what Pavlik was gonna get in Nov.:think

    We'll see. Either way, million or not, he should take the fight. Bute is set to leave for Florida on 13 Feb, so next week is go-time for contract signing.

    Would be awesome to see Dirrell in April (Bell Centre), Froch in August (ULaval PEPS stadium) and Ward in December (Madison Square Garden).

    Can't wait till Bute is back with Hershman & co who had set him up to face the S6 champ which Espinoza couldn't make happen.

    Bute-Ward on HBO December 2012? :?

    Another fighter with a seriously thin resume looking to build himself by throwing around a name. If he want's the fight so bad he should fight sanctioned fights and make himself a mandatory. Guys getting paid big money before doing anything is ruining the sport.

    If your talking about Bute, he's a belt holder and can't be ranked as a mandatory by another organization.

    The more Interbox waits to announce an opponent to Bute for April 14, the less chance we have to see a quality fight.

    And Dirrell to think he'll have a better chance at the big money fights by himself...:patsch

    I don't want to see a Bute-Pavlik or a Bute-George fight. Maybe Bute-Stevenson for the local angle to it but as the last option possible.

    I would prefer Bute-Pavlik over the other two you mentioned.
