Bute's best opponent just lost on FNF.

Bute is Canadas golden boy, has solid wins over Johnson, Andrade, and Bika. Solid resume, not weak, but compared to the elite Super 6, it sure is lacking. Where I do give Bute credit is he's at least calling them out now. Too bad him and Ward dont wanna fight outside their countries.

You cant mock any fighter who dared to be great.

For same reasons I didnt like Calzaghe much either.. Okay he finally unified the division but it took strange amount of time to do it.. and he did fight Hopkins which was short of Cherry pick which turned out to be nightmare for Joe, lets be honest.

Bute is relatively new to the sport (as compared to Calslappy). He was frozen out of the S6, so all of the top guys were frozen out. He has tried to make deals with Pavlik, Kessler and Stieglitz . . . etc but all these price themselves out.

People can criticize him for not fighting abroad but if you can make 3 times the money for all sides fighting in Montreal why wouldn't you?

He said he would fight Ward in Oakland but Ward showed zero interest.

Showtime wanted him to fight Dirrell in the US, since Dirrell is coming off of a long layoff, Bute would be criticized for fighting him.

I do not see anyone on here saying that Bute is the best p4p, the greatest ever, or has the best Jab and left hook ever. Most Bute fans think he is the Best 168 . . . which is not totally outrageous.
