Bute is Canadas golden boy, has solid wins over Johnson, Andrade, and Bika. Solid resume, not weak, but compared to the elite Super 6, it sure is lacking. Where I do give Bute credit is he's at least calling them out now. Too bad him and Ward dont wanna fight outside their countries.
Even Ferdie Pacheco, Angelo Dundee and Goody/Pat Petronelli would agree, it's long beyond time for Bute to go to America and make a name for himself. Ward-Bute can be very big in late summer-early winter, should Bute fight someone of legitimacy, someone like Andre Dirrell.

Now it is true that for some unknown reason, Sweden has limited pro boxing opportunities, which I personally hate since Sweden has a deep history in boxing, we have hosted many all time greats like Patterson,Liston and so on.. and they always loved Sweden. Unfortunately, this country isn't what it used to be. That being said, we always overwhelm Denmark in the amateur AIBA rankings. And that's a fact. Now we are getting there why Bute can be criticized heavily. It is about Fighting the Best, taking the biggest challenges out there. That is what I find the most important what to value and respect on Boxer.. Like Bute, he is million times talented and skilled than Helenius but he seemingly is chosing the easy way out. making easy money without risks and caring about legacy what he leaves behind when it is all said and done.. It is sad. I like Bute and I think he is skilled but I am starting to lose last of the hope for him not stepping up. I dont **** on Fighter if he tries and fails if he just did try... You cant mock any fighter who dared to be great. For same reasons I didnt like Calzaghe much either.. Bute is relatively new to the sport (as compared to Calslappy). He was frozen out of the S6, so all of the top guys were frozen out. He has tried to make deals with Pavlik, Kessler and Stieglitz . . . etc but all these price themselves out. People can criticize him for not fighting abroad but if you can make 3 times the money for all sides fighting in Montreal why wouldn't you? He said he would fight Ward in Oakland but Ward showed zero interest. Showtime wanted him to fight Dirrell in the US, since Dirrell is coming off of a long layoff, Bute would be criticized for fighting him. I do not see anyone on here saying that Bute is the best p4p, the greatest ever, or has the best Jab and left hook ever. Most Bute fans think he is the Best 168 . . . which is not totally outrageous. This MrMagic's obsession with Bute is not warranted, this cocksucker starts more threads than all Bute fans combined. He even tries to lay claim to your great Fin heavyweight.
