I enjoyed it. Knocking VK down with one punch though? Well written anyway!

I'd do one myself but the bias would be painful for anyone to read. I (Rocky Marciano) stepped into the ring to teach this young Lewis punk a lesson, and moida him. Next thing I knew he shoots an ATG chin checking straight right at me and BOOM- I wake up leaving the ring in a stretcher. I had to admit this Lewis guy was probably the ATG best head to head heavyweight and probably had an iron chin too, having been in with loads of big punchers in what will probably be at least the 2nd best era in heavyweight boxing

    so I won't go there

    :yep

In my defense, Vitali was 43 by this point, more or less retired, and took Galento very lightly. I could see a flash knockdown under these circumstances.

It was fun, man. I'd actually read anything you wrote similar, after reading that.

    I liked it. Good job!

Sorry I haven't been around in a while. Not feeling well over the last 18 months. In and out of the hospital and then a nursing home for a while. Visiting home right now. (I've been having a scuffle with cancer. 2 surgeries. Radiation. Chemo. Going for one more round of chemo soon.)

You captured the essence of Galento and I thoroughly enjoyed it!
