Anyone remember Amaclet Wamba (spellin)? He was also a decent fighter. Improved as his career went on.
Sorry I cannot come to terms with this yet.... What in the holy mother of Mary and Joseph formula can make Haye no.2. Did they have Enzo and Mormeck as top 5 ATGS?
Tarver could have been a superb cruiser if he'd moved up early enough. Hill was a top class fighter, 20 world title wins at 175, though the loss to Hearns looks bad despite Tommy being one of the greatest ever.
I actually think it's more of the former. On a strictly technical assessment of what happened you can look at it on the surface of things and take from it that during his 175 pound campaign he effectively just has a win over Hill and a loss to Barkley. But that doesn't tell the whole story in terms of the quality of fighter that Hill lost to. Hearns was still a world class operator at that time, and that's to say the least. You could call it a bad loss for Hill, but I would maintain that is more so a great win for Hearns than it was a bad loss for Hill. I always saw it as Hearns' last stand really.
