I never thought he was shot to death. But he did lose a few steps after getting mashed up by Marg. Team Pac made sure Cotto had a hard time with Clottey (which he did) before making a decision to fight Miguel. Just to be sure they don't get any unpleasant surprises, they drained him. For those who don't think the 2 pounds matter - watch the two fights between Funeka and Guzman. In their rematch Guzman shook off the punches like they were nothing whereas in the first fight he was bloodied and nearly stopped as he went into that fight a few pounds lighter.

The only thing I'm trying very hard is to understand the ***** logic. It would be interesting to see how they reply to their own hypocrisies.

PC: Was coming down to 145 tougher than you thought it would be since you hadn’t weighed 145 or less since 2006?

MC: I felt really good at that weight. It wasn’t a problem for me.

    :think

Doesn't your reasoning also apply to Margarito as well who fought Pac at a higher weight than Mosley did?

Hatton was undefeated @ 140 mate.
Floyd fought Hatton @ 147 which Hatton only fought once against Collazo.

Many Pac fans don't think Cotto was ever shot.

It's these guys below you need to argue with.

Then by your logic, Margarito fought Pac 3 pounds heavier than when he fought Pac, making him a legit fighter (not shot) by the same logic you are telling me.
