round 3 also for the Pole, looks more like practise on a punching bag, but as of yet, Masternak hasn't hurt Simms, who's trying to wrestle with Masternak

referee stops it in the 4th, Masternak pounded him with around 25 unanswered punches, Simms is angry at the stoppage, but I really don't see the point in not answering the barrage

Hernandez comes forward and pumps his right jab. Cunningham backs up and paws out with his left jab in wheel-turning motions. Cunningham is ripped and bearded, btw. Looking like a bad ass. Not matching that appearance with his disposition so far, though. Very cautious and tactical opener, both staying outside and jabbing. A few more right jabs by Hernandez than Cunningham throws with his left. Slapping long right hooks by Hernandez, trying to catch Cunningham circling right. Body jabs by Cunningham. A few more as Hernandez comes in jabbing high. Hernandez extends a few jabs into thin air, just testing the waters as Cunningham backs up. Cunningham jabs into Hernandez's gloves. Straight left by Hernandez, blocked. Slapping right hook by Hernandez, and a slapping left hook by Cunningham - both missing. Body shots by Hernandez.

Body shot by Cunningham. Right hook, left hand by Hernandez falling short. Cunningham is rolling and dipping his shoulders back and wheeling to the ropes.

Cunningham backs out and they exchange long jabs, Hernandez throwing more. Both economical, circling slowly. Long 1-2 to the body by Cunningham. Hernandez wends a right hook under Cunningham's jab and up into his armpit. Hernandez is winging in uppercuts and backing Cunningham up. Nice solid straight left lead by Hernandez to put Cunningham on the ropes. Steady right jab to the guard by Hernandez. Right jab checked. Left lead to the body. Spanking right hook to the buttocks as Cunningham turns partially away. Overhand rights by Cunningham caught on the shoulder. Long left jab by Cunningham backing up. Right hand lead to the body, and Richardson shouts "that's it!!!" even though it didn't land cleanly. Long left from the hip by Hernandez, almost catches Cunningham circles with hands down. Body shots by Hernandez, heavy. Triple pecking jab by Cunningham, trying to keep Hernandez away.

A few steps back, and the challenger loads up a big looping right hand around the side door while moving quickly forward. Hernandez is still dipping and slipping, throwing body shots when bent over and creeping in on Cunningham offline from his right hand leads. Cunningham holds. BIG LEFT HAND KNOCKDOWN BY HERNANDEZ!!!!! CUNNINGHAM IS ****ED UP BADLY!! HE BEATS THE COUNT, BUT TURNS HIS BACK TO THE ROPES!!! TIME IN!!! ANOTHER KNOCKDOWN!!! AGAIN HE BEATS THE COUNT!! Cunningham darts in with high floating left jabs and shoveling rights to the body. Hernandez lands a good left uppercut, and backs Cunningham up. ANOTHER! Oh ****, now Cunningham hurts Hernandez with a right hand!!! Hernandez has his right hand low and is crouched low, slipping Cunningham's jabs with head movement. Big left by Hernandez lunging upward. Cunningham doubles a jab and tries a right to the body but Hernandez scoots back quickly out of reach. They each feint with their jabs from long range. Cunningham's mouth is ripped open and bloody.

Cunningham checks the jabs and edges his way in with his left foot outside Hernandez's. BIG RIGHT COUNTER HOOK BY Hernandez, almost caught Steve flush on the chin. Just grazed as Steve turned his head. Solid left to the body by Hernandez, plunging below Cunningham's high jab. Right jab by Hernandez backing up a step. Cunningham jabs with his left and is countered by a lead left. Overreaching left jab by Cunningham, with Hernandez ducked back out of the way. Body shots by Hernandez. 1-2 to the guard by Cunningham. Short right hook by Hernandez surging forward. Double jabs by Cunningham blocked. Left hand lead by Hernandez blocked.

Richardson is calling for body shots, and Cunningham obliges. Hernandez loops out a left, stopping Cunningham for a moment. Now a straight left. All single shots or lefts behind the pawed right jab. Cunningham is shelling up as he walks forward and waiting for his turn to throw hard body combos leaning into Hernandez. Jabs by Cunningham coming forward. Cunningham has his head pushed down bowing in. Lunging lead left to the body by Hernandez. Cunningham keeps backing him up with left jabs to the head. Cunningham busier. Left lead to the gut by Hernandez. Cunningham times Hernandez with a right hand on the way inside. Lazy lead left by Hernandez falling in.

A double jab avoided with a backward step. Cunningham is flashing his jab out coming forward and getting caught and held. Big right hook arcing up and crashing down behind the ear by Hernandez. Stiff left jab to the mouth by Cunningham. Hernandez is forced back and is trying to drop down and attack from angles, but not getting past the jab. Diving lead lefts to the body by Hernandez. Whipping right uppercuts by Cunningham coming forward. Limp overhand lefts by Hernandez, falling in and tying up. They step out and exchange jabs. Cunningham marches forward with Naz yelling encouragement, "He thought he could be the big man and intimidate you. It didn't work, he's done!". Hernandez tries to time Cunningham coming in with a left uppercut but isn't finding the target as Cunningham walks straight through and bangs the body. Lots of tying up. Jabs by Cunningham as Hernandez backs out. Left hand lead by Hernandez, holds Cunningham at bay for a moment. BIG RIGHT HAND LEAD BY CUNNINGHAM! He walks into a straight left as Hernandez played possum, though. Cunningham keeps coming forward behind double jabs with his right hand. BIG uppercut to the abdominals by Cunningham, off a high double jab. Cunningham circles in close to his left and peppers Hernandez with left jabs.

Hernandez tosses a right jab and steps gingerly around to his left, away from the forceful right of Cunningham. Hernandez is catching Cunningham coming forward with high right jabs while shrunk back into a partial crouch. Cunningham is just languishing on the outside while Richardson begs for activity. Good right jab by Hernandez. Big looping left by Hernandez, building into a combo. Clipping shots to the sides of the head by Hernandez in the ensuing melee, and some body shots. Cunningham stands still. Paws with a jab. Hernandez tries a left hand lead but is countered with a well timed jab. Now Hernandez tries again and lands flush as Cunningham pulls straight back. Jabs to the bellly by Cunningham. Again. Combo by Cunningham lands, and another one misses. Left hand lead by Hernandez backs Cunningham up.

Hernandez paws with his right jab trying to walk Cunningham to the ropes. Cunningham rips off an uppercut and dives in to grab. Lets go. Jabs from mid range. Hernandez now backing up. Wild left uppercut by Hernandez, shooting up above head level as Cunningham skips away. Both men throwing rear hand leads and getting blocked. Nice quick left by Hernandez. Cunningham lunges over the gap with his left jab, missing. Now a quadruple body jab by Cunningham, and a hard right to the bread basket!! Cunningham is hammering away with body shots and then short hard shots to the top of the head when Hernandez doubles over. Nice left uppercut to the chest from outside by Hernandez. Rabbit punch by Cunningham, accidental. Hernandez holds the back of his head to complain as he's held in a clinch with his back turned. Cunningham lands a straight combo. Hernandez slips some left jabs on the outside. Hernandez tries to leap off to his left with a right hook to the head, but isn't close enough. Hernandez missing. Cunningham pushing him back with double and triple jabs.

Sloppy scrap right up close, and they clinch without either landing anything. They back out and Hernandez pumps his right jab. 1-2 to the body by Cunningham, landing loudly. Hard 1-2's by Cunningham driving forward. Hernandez hangs back and loads up a long left hand, clapping limp against Cunningham's guard. Hard jabs by Cunningham. Left hook to the body by Cunningham. Left hand lead up top by Hernandez and then a double right hook to the body while Cunningham's attention is diverted. Cunningham is trying to boss Hernandez around the ring behind his hard jab, having lost none of its snap. Hernandez is giving ground but still looking to set up big shots, especially the guillotine left hand. Solid left!! BODY SHOT!! CUNNINGHAM IS HURT!! ROCKED BAD!! ABOUT TO FALL!!! Wild swings by Hernandez!!! Cunningham rallies back and throws some hooks and overhands, recovering his balance!!! BIG UPPERCUTS BY CUNNINGHAM!!!!!!!! Body shots!!! Stepped up huge with combos in the 4th and took the guy out.

Jep. just going wild. he started to throwing combos which he had not been doing in the first 3 rounds.

Some will say it was an early stoppage, but Simms wont throwin anything back.

The first three ones was bad. maybe some will say it was a bad stoppage, but Simms wasnt throwing anything back and just leaning back at the ropes.

Masternak is in VERY good company there, as only the second person to stop Simms after Rakhim Chakhiev (who took the same # of rounds to do it)
