caneman is tryin' too hard. hes obviously pissed that Floyd will get more credit for fighting a 154 lb version of Cotto . thats hilarious, Floyd will get more credit for beating a pac "leftover" than pacquiao. get over it, Floyd ALWAYS fights and beats a better versions of common opponents. this will be a super fight while pac vs big head bradley will flop

 

This is not a fight that Mayweather souporters myself included should try to pass of as some great match up. Alvarez would have been a tougher fight than Cotto despite the gap in experance.
Than again this is the fight that every Mayweather hatter has been calling for.

Personally, I am a Mayweather fan, but I have never thought that Cotto was shot...I just never believed that he was that great to begin with.

Cottos main weakness is relentless pressure from an oponent. Take out that componet and you got an excellent boxer in Cotto. Floyd dosn't bring that pressure game to the table and that makes this a fight were styles will truely make it interesting. Cotto has excellent fundamentals and timing, Floyd has all that plus the advantage of speed, This will be a thinking mans fight without a lot of clinching,wrestling, and wasted motion. Cotto will test Mayweather in a different way than hes been tested. Now dont get me wrong, I think Floyd will prevail but I dont see a picnic.:bbb:bbb

 

Floys vs Cotto IS a great fight. I don't see why you're complaining and trying to make this fight look bad. Mayweather is moving up to Cotto's division to challenge him for his title, how is that not exciting knowing/understanding both their styles?

If you want baseless negativity it's extremely easy to go into it regarding Pacquiao's choice of opponents. DLH was coming off a loss to Mayweather, Hatton coming off a loss to Mayweather, Cotto coming off a loss to a cheater Concheato, Clottey coming off a loss to Cotto, Concheato coming off a loss to Mosley, Mosley coming off a loss to Mayweather and Marquez coming off a loss to Mayweather.
