Will this generate interest in Oz??

If I had Foxtel & with not much happening atm, I'd probably blow 29.95 for bit of Sunday afternoon entertainment. But, not so if I was with Austar http://www.mainevent.com.au/boxing/williams-vs-ishida-1180/

 

Odd odd choice by Main Event for their 1st overseas boxing PPV...with MMA guys running the show of course they aint got a clue.

 

Lol I will probably get it, but I get every single ppv or mma that is on. Its a reg sunday bbq beers n mates at my place. In saying that, yes very odd PPV for aus.

 

Ishida has a big following down under because of his two battles with crazy Kim, the man who droped "the man"

Mate i wouldnt say any boxer besides Green and Mundine have anything of a following in oz..

I think us in the oz forum are the only people who actually follow the sport of boxing in oz..

As should most of these Showtime/HBO cards outside the big about 6 shows a year.

 

Cloud v Campillo will be a ding dong battle! Worth watching for that alone!

Also heard that Main Event will be showing Lopez v Salido 2 on March 11! Should be a sweet fight that one!
