Good round by Chavez, working more on the inside, landing some good lefts and rights. Not enough from Rubio to steal the round.

    2-1 Rubio

Chavez was coming and landing some, but he was eating many more in the 3rd to get there.

    29 - 28 Chavez Jr.

Chavez's body work took the round. He really laid the hammer down on Rubio and roughed him up badly, then came back and landed some nice lefts and rights upstairs. Rubio is game and is trading back, but I wonder if he can last at this pace.

16 of 92 for Rubio in the third.

Lederman has Chavez up 29-28, gave him the last two.

This is sad. Either Rubio overtrained or he is completely shot. He just looks so slow and his shots look soft. Chavez really has done nothing except throw some good body punches but he really looks like he has too much weight on him.
