Learn how to hit and not get hit, calm himself in the ring and bring out the tricky **** with a purpose not just showboating. No way head littl guys should be puffing up his face like that. West coast trainers just dont know **** about defense.

I think he should watch Andre Ward. He's not the same kind of fighter as a Mayweather. Also he's moving up so his power isn't kicking in yet.

Man......shut you're non boxing ass up. Nonito has good defense but was over committing in this fight. Partly because he came in emotional and partly because he was fighting a guy who just wouldnt open up. Aside from a few right hands and jabs Nonito evaded the majority of WV's offense.

You mean Gary Russell. and I don't know **** about boxing?:rofl Gary is a great talent and has a world of potential but he'd get sparked by Nonito right now...Gamboa is good too but has a lot of defensive flaws himself...he's not as technically sound as Nonito but his power and speed are always a huge risk. Nonito is better than both right now.

And in Nonitos last fight he had another guy who didn't come to fight... Just jab and survive.. when Nonito has someone who is actually coming to win he has the opportunity to showcase his abilities.

Doesn't matter if you get hit, as long as you keep on winning. And give the guy a break, he just moved up in weight, he even knocked Vazquez down. :bbb

Oh, but it does. Eventually you fight a guy who can capitalize on that.

Andre Ward is the best defensive fighter right now behind BHOP and Floyd

Ward is offensive oriented but he has supreme technical skills. Donaire needs to improve on his technical skills. He's beginning to rely too much on his speed, power and athleticism. He has technical skills which he used in the Vasquez fight to score the knockdown but he was not consistent and when one style wasn't working he didn't find the answer.

Also he didn't go to the body enough and was head hunting. I think he was too focused on trying to look spectacular when he should have kept his hands up and just outboxed the guy.

nah, Nonito would rather entertain the fans by showing that he is vulnerable. He didn't lose the fight.

Vasquez Jr. is a tough young talent that will bounce back after this. Good kid..

Yep watching him get busted up by a guy half his size was entertaining. Especially what will happen should arum grow balls and feed him to the cyclone.
