    Brutal start to the round, both landing hooks to the face. Another low blow by Rubio. Stern warning. Point taken? No, not yet. Time in. Chavez jabs in on him. Rubio backs up to the ropes and chops in with lefts and rights to the head. All body shots from Chavez. Now Chavez straightens up and throws some jabs to the face. Rubio walks toward him, catching jabs on his guard. Uppercuts by Rubio, wild and blocked. Left hook by Chavez circling out to his left. Rubio slaps either side of Chavez's face from long range. Chavez jabs from outside, back to the ropes. Chavez keeps darting a few steps in either direction, jittery. Rubio isn't cutting him off. High jabs by Chavez, now a jab to the body. Chavez leans into him, under the Rubio jab. Chavez straightens up and jabs Rubio in the face, backing him up. Rubio on the ropes. Chavez clubs with a right. Big hard combo by Chavez, but Rubio is able to curl into a ball and deflect the shots.
