Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. vs. Marco Rubio & Nonito Donaire vs. Wilfredo Vazquez Jr. RBR

:-( To say I find that judge suspect is an understatement. Some cards can't likely be explained away by incompetence or bias. Donaire clearly won.

I like that HBO from the beginning of that fight's coverage basically said "Well, obviously we know he's full of **** but whatever he wants to say is cool."

...Okay, let's just start assuming the community has grown and the RBR's are going to get bigger. Because I cannot even think it was the star-power of the double-Junior card.

 

How did Donaire look?

 

For a couple seconds he looked like he was taking a poop, to bait Vazquez into a counter hook. Ah, yes. The old poop check hook. I know of it well. It's odd but the man who invented that shot was named John R. Pubcyzk, which is pronounced "Poop-check", in Polish.

 

Best comment I've seen about Donaire's antics. Funny ****.

Just checking in on this thread to see how IB scored it, since I wasn't keeping track myself and thought it was fairly close. Once again, you've proved yourself an unbiased, solid judge. I know IB had Rubio picked in this fight and as usual that had no effect on his judging.

I'm surprised this cracked the top 10 RBR threads, but I guess everyone else was as excited about this fight as I was.

 

Just be honest in predictions and analysis and let the chips fall where they may.
