How can you call Burns a tomatoe can? Being a two weight world champion and being an underdog against both guys whom your fought for the titles makes you a tomatoe can? You don't know **** all about boxing.

Relocating to the US, left his long-time trainer and looking to make a run for a title at 140. He recently turned down a fight with DeMarco because he can't do 135 any more.

There's talk of him fighting Paul McCloskey in March or April in Belfast.

Relax i dont really follow katsidis
Though i do respect him for
Takin on big dogs. The fight i was reffering to
Was before burns in QLD. He did win but did not look good in doin so. He was given an easier opponent after
    Loosing to high level OP.

Lol your insults are cute :)

You are right.. Us aussies seem to do well at any sport except for the biggest sport in the world (soccer).
We have had some great boxers but we are not consistant like the u.s , england or mexico.

Then again i dont know alot of people that follow boxing down here... Its either cricket ,AFL or rugby

    Two weight champion ? GTFO.
But Burns is a solid contender.

Last time Katsidis was mentioned it was told that he might be on the Hopkins Dawson II card. They wanted to face him with Linares, i think.

Too many loses he is becoming a gatekeeper, no longer seems like a real contender, he is only 31 in age (maybe 39 in ring age/punishment).

He should move up to 140 get a money fight (after all he is exciting and he can make your fighter look good). Contact interbox, go to canada and fight Pierre Olivier Cote, if Katsidis wins he is back in contention for stardom as IBF inter-continetal champion. If he loses he still gets paid.

Katsidis is suppose to move to 140, I don't know if thats a good move or not. He falls short against upper level guys at 135 and is going to do the same with bigger guys at 140.

He's a pretty entrertaining fighter and puts up a good fight even when he loses so there will always be a tv demand for him. I would love to see a Morales-Katsidis fight, Morales has faded enough to where this would be a great fight.

Hope Michael does well @ jr welterweight... he has taken a beating from Marquez & Guerrero. Revive his career @ 140. Good luck
