So to allow for an open fight, Condit should let Diaz trap him on the cage? Why is Diaz trying to trap him on the cage, if its not to avoid an open fight? Can you not see the absurd double standard you've set up?
Yawn. The predictable and utterly, utterly pointless calling-card of the internet forum dolt. "well go you and fight him then"... :dead
No accusing a fighter of being a coward and selling out fighting principles because they used tactics that you dislike is the calling-card of the big talking, small acting keyboard warrior.
You're either not reading what I'm writing at all, or you have a defective brain. This is getting really boring. Diaz backed Condit up, and when Condit slid out from the cage, he then backed way off rather than use the opportunity to attack Diaz. That point couldn't be any simpler to follow. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
no, but he should fire back whil spinning off....kinda like, you know, stand up guys who engage (aldo) do...not spin and literally run
Boring. Every debate on here ends up with one chump saying "you be a fighter then". Turgid, predictable, pointless stuff from you. :dead:dead:dead
Sure. From now on I'll leave the analysis in the hands of a man who thinks that fighters with 93% finish ratios are what's wrong with the sport.
You somehow STILL do not understand the difference between criticizing ONE PERFORMANCE of a fighter, and criticizing that fighter as a whole, despite having this explained to you again and again and AGAIN!!!!! Seriously, your brain must be the size of a chimp's testicle. nut:nut
Well, I'll repeat some **** I've already said and re-post it differently, too. I thought Diaz landed the better strikes in rounds 1 and 2, and I gave Diaz the 3rd after he took Condit's back. I'm not going to make some pissy thread whining about Condit's game plan just because the judges got it wrong. Especially when I think Condit was fighting the way he should have been fighting. Condit started attacking aggressively once his strategy was proving effective. Condit turned his attacks up in rounds 3 thru 5. It just wasn't enough to get Diaz out of there.
you're either a troll or a moron...as already stated, that isn't what anyone is saying, and the title clearly doesn't say that either
so...wtf do you care? i refuse to watch edgar fights because he does the same ****...he has a great heart, amazing come backs..i have nothing personal against edgar, but that tap and flap is ****ing L-A-M-E the funny thing is, i love counter punchers what condit did was not counter, it was tap and run (literally run) i will probably watch condit-GSP (just because it's GSP), but i doubt i would bother with condit if he pulls out another stinker
That's pretty much how I read the fight. Condit was doing much in the first two but the momentum shifted in round three. Diaz then rescued the fight by getting it to the ground in the fifth.
Don't get me wrong. I would love to see these guys go toe to toe, and someone get put to sleep. That just isn't a smart strategy against Diaz, and I can't fault someone for not doing it.
