Undefeated Peter knocked Wlad down 3 times in their first fight and he still managed to win on every scorecard. And dont forget Wlad was a dead man walking at this time. Enough adversity?

If size meant everything than Tye Fields & Lance "Mount" Whitaker would be co cahmpions instead of The Klitschkos.....................:deal

The fact that you even mention Larry Holmes' win over Ali just shows you're out of touch.

Rocky Marciano, Joe Louis, Jack Johnson & Larry Holmes also dominated in supposedly weak eras.

    1. Vitali is one half of the only brothers to hold all portions of the HW title at the same time.

    2. Vitali returned after a nearly 4 year retirement & fought Sam Peter for the WBC belt without a tuneup. He also was the first to beat Peter by stoppage.

    3. Vitali holds one of the highest KO percentages in the history of the Heavyweight division.

    4. Vitali has only lost by injury, never being knocked down in a pro fight.

    5. Vitali has beaten big punchers, as well as good boxers. Some have been big & tall also, so there goes the theory that he only wins because of his size.

    6. Vitali is a great ambassador of the sport, giving time & money to many charities and staying in perfect shape between fights and being a generally good person and a role model.

Vitali is already an ATG and Hall of Famer, regardless of your opinion. :good

That's funny you listed those fighters, since I like to watch all of them box, with the exception of Hopkins anyway.:yep

.............................in your opinion, which means **** for obvious reasons. :hi:

Head to head matchups are and always will be part of the criteria we judge fighters by.

    Here in lies the problem.

When you talk about GREATNESS you do not talk about CO-CHAMPIONS.

How Vitali talk about being and ALL TIME GREAT when he cannot even be considered THE MAN in his own era?? OR vice versa.

Wlad is top 10, Vitali is Top 15 all time. That's my opinion, based on their domination & them barely losing any rounds against all types of fighters from big punchers to good boxers.

Listen, everyone has their opinion & you are entitled to your own just as I am to mine.

I think the fact that they'll always be remembered as the only brothers to hold all the titles at the same time is a positive.

They also rank very highly on fantasy head to head matchups, just like Ali, Louis, Foreman, Tyson, Lewis, etc.

our opinion doesn't override FACT. The fact is, that neither one of them has fought the best contender their era has to offer. WHat other ATG has done that??

And your last line is only when talk to other Klitschko fans. I pick every guy you mentioned to beat BOTH Klitschkos head to head..

Your middle line is TRUE. However that doesn't make them an ATG. IN fact it works against them,

That's your opinion and it not based on facts.

You can tell your friends though, maybe they'll buy it :good

Walcott was a good win but Schmeling & Baer were no big accomplishment, in fact Schmeling knocked out Joe in the first fight didn't he? If he didn't we wouldn't even be mentioning his name right now.

BOth Schmeling and Baer were undisputed champions. Something you CAN NOT say about either Klitschko.
