What absolute rubbish. So it's one rule for every other boxer but another for Vitali.

This bolded is the key. The ring had Vitali as #1, Byrd #2 and Sanders #3.

Beating #3 does not establish lineage. It made him ring champion that's it.

Lennox was lineal no? Yes or no, simple question?

Yes, he was & when Vitali beat Sanders he took over the reigns...............Byrd never had any part of the lineal title, because he never beat Lennox to get that title. Lewis is one of my AT favorite fighters but he was a major part of the reason we had the title split and we now need unification.

You'll get over it eventually.

You're not getting it are you. To establish a new lineage #1 must fight #2. That's been the rule forever.

Who exactly rated Byrd #2 at the time? Was it based on robbery decisions against Golota & Oquendo?

Sanders was rightfully ranked number 2 because he beat Wladimir.

    BTW, Wladimir is lineal now.

The ring obviously. But I guess the WBC rankings (who don't rank other belt holders) is more legitimate right?:rofl

And no, Wlad is not the linear champion.

yeah, old senile dumbasses that have forgotten more about the game than you'll ever know, and other, more modern pundits. they know that you cant judge a fighter's status in the annals of history off of a fight that happens in your mind, unlike yourself.

What matters is that Vitali fought the top WBC ranked guy for the belt Lewis, the former lineal, vacated.

    Thanks for playing, again.

Oh, and Wlad is now Lineal, again wether you like it or not.

Again, I never said the Klits were the best ever. What is it with you haters & reading? :huh

Now if one of them had both of their records they'd be the best ever :good I did say that part..............99 victories with 89 knockouts and only 5 defeats would clearly put that fighter at the top. Imagine if you considered all their combined successful defenses also? :rofl
