no he's not an atg, no one ever said he was...the kid just wants to make a namr for himself, and he's doing just that......the kid dug deep and beat the **** out of a dude that was supposed to ko him...no only that, but he beat the man that was supposed to ko him within four (david lafew) big props to my dude, and **** the hataz !!!!!!!!!! not convinced that he'll beat sergio, but now i'm sure he'll give him a hell of a fight....
Its pretty ridiculous, imo. The excuses are off the ****ing wall, Jr cheated because he came in heavier than Rubio? Rubio was paid to take it easy on Jr?!?! :rofl
The problem that Chavez haters have, is they won't accept he has improved. I'm guessing that all of the haters right now, we're the same people who were saying Chavez would never amount to anything. Rather than admit they were wrong, they have an excuse for every win. I think he's a good fighter. Entertaining too. I'd like to see him fight Barker next, if the Pirog/Barker bout doesn't go ahead.
He'll give Martinez ZERO helluva fight especially as he got his title and using his Mexican passport and name to make sure Don Jose keeps the Real Champion away. Is this how Mexican fighters roll? I have respect for every boxer, but for what Jr. and his team represents, stealing someone else's hard earned title, I wanna see someone teaching him a fat lesson how it is done in a SPORT of boxing, because he only got a BUSINESS title not a real one. Hopefully Sergio will be the one delivering the whooping, and if Jr. beats him, full credit to Chavez. Let's see it!
Jr. is just Ok.. Nothing special. It looked like a Klitschko fight last night, that's how much bigger he looked then Rubio.
I am just disappointed he is getting on the Spotlights too much because of his name... He is somewhat exciting fighter and has improved since getting with better trainer. They need to put fights betweenChavex jr, Pirog, Golovkin, Njikam, Proksa, HNN, Quillin, Lee, Degeale so on so on.
I'm not giving chavez credit for this win cause number 1 he likely cheated by which he refused to do a post fight drug testing in which i smell steriods. And 2 for weighing over 20 pounds on fight night in which yes its legal to weigh whatever it is on fight night but i said in the other threads that there should be a new rule that every fighters should only weigh in up to under 20 pounds. And i guess i'm the only one that thinks beating rubio is nothing to brag about cause rubio is really a c minus fighter anyway.
I dont get the hate man. Who gives a **** what he weight the day of tye fight. He followed to rules, made proper weight and nothing more do it. I like alway everytime he fights its gonna decend fight. zbik fight was good. You know boxing is getting bad when people cry like little girls about what he weights fight night. Lol. People now saying boxing should make a new rule. **** off. There not , so grow the **** up.
Im so happy he got that win last night When I saw him at the end of the 10th I think? I was like noooooooo, he looked done. You could tell he was at that point where his body had nothing left for him.... that point where most fighters wilt one way or another, but Jr went out there to kill or be killed and showed so much heart and grit. Was completely happy for him last night.... That being said, a little dissapointed in his training camp. He came in bloated and not in the shape he should be in, got a DUI two weeks ago? And now reports are they dodged a drug test? I started supporting Jr around the time he went with roach because he was showing the dedication and wanting to put in the work, but all this before the biggest and toughest fight for him up to this point pretty much doesnt bode well. He needs to get his **** together if he wants to take it to the next level.
He better not fight Lee, Quillin, Pirog or Martinez if he wants to stay relevant, btw most people expected Chavez to UD Rubio which is what happened, no one really expected Rubio to KO Chavez, that was more a of a hope rather than an expectation. Also, Chavez did not "beat the **** out of Rubio", he won more rounds but it was a close fight.
