Julio Cesar Chavez Jr vs Jermain Taylor, who wins? I know Taylor is shot but he's still miles better than anybody Chavez Jr has fought, not to mention he wouldn't be outsized by Jr.

Not a bad match-up actually. There are too many question marks about how Taylor would look against more game competition, but if he's still relatively durable, I could see him taking a clear but competitive decision. Any wilting in conditioning or a mental aversion to punishment mid-fight would spell doom for him, and Jr. would take over.

Taylor is always in great condition, and luckily for him Chavez aint a head hunter, BUT.......the body punching would wilt and stop the old leatherfaced fighter.:good

I don't think Taylor is even a quarter of his old self which would been enough to beat Chavez. As of now it depends how Chavez fights if he tries to box sd to either fighter if he puts the pressure on Taylor then julio "legit superstar" cesar Chavez jr by a lop sided decision.

Taylors fragile little china chin gets smashed all over the ring.

I'd probably favor Chavez Jr now, as much as it hurts me to type it.

IF Taylor's jab doesn't keep him at bay and his movement doesn't keep him off balance. That's what I see happening if Taylor comes in 100 percent prepared.

Chavez Jr. vs Taylor could end up like most Jermain Taylor fights. With Jermain having success in the beggining with his speed and his easy target in front of him, but eventually running out of Gas and getting TKOd late. Also very similar to the other Chavez Taylor.

My thoughts pretty much. A guy that is famous for fading down the stretch against a bigger guy who would come in and lean on him as much as he could. Taylor would eventually gas.

You think Jr is bigger than Taylor?

If the fight is at 160? Yep. Not convinced Jr didn't skip out on the drug test because it would have shown diuretics to help him lose the last 5 pounds.

I agree with this . . . but if Taylor can comeback from his time away He might surprise people. JCC jr is not a huge puncher so JT might be able to withstand his aggressive style after he fully recovers. Would be a very intersting match-up in a year or so . . . personally I think JT so retire and not risk further injury:bart
