    Great stuff Rocky. I am not sure but I think I may have heard this before. I remember hearing him speak and say something about watching the girls walk by. What a great laugh, eh? Thanks

    Langford was great, but I don't see why people who totally disparage and dismiss Marciano and Dempsey cause of their size, say Langford was greatest when he was only 5'6 or 5'7 , and weighed under 190.

    Story of dempseys manager saying no to a half blind Langford sounds like usual Burt Sugar B.S. Langford lost a few to nobodies due to age, if Dempsey fought him he'd be criticized for beating up old man. Oh, and for fighting "such a small guy"

    This makes no sense.

    There's a difference between saying one guy has the greatest resume in history and saying another guy would be blasted out by george foreman because he's too small.

    Also I don't believe wills gets criticised for beating langford?

    Thanks from me too! I have been trying to track down the interview they alluded to for years. They mentioned his guitar. I would rather hear about his boxing memories.

    I have seen the original Joe Walcott, Tommy Ryan, and Jeffries speak about the old time fighters.
