Scott Quigg vs Carl Frampton (Post Arthur/Hughes)

When have you ever picked against a Gallagher fighter mate

 

i said Quigg before he came to Gallagher.

Ive been to about 10 of his fights and believe he is a special talent.

 

Frampton for me, the Arthur fight showed up Quiggs defensive flaws I think Frampton has a style that will exploit that, I can see it being a bit similar to Murray/Mitchell.

 

I worry how open Quigg is to the body shots. I've still picked Quigg, but it's closer then i originally thought after Saturday.

 

I think I went for Quigg in the first poll, Its quite a tough one to call, Im looking forward to it though, when it does finally happen, hopefully its soon I don't think it should be left to build any more, the loser can still come back and they can fight each other again further down the line.

 

I like Framptons class. Does that mean he can handle Quigg when he is suffocating him, muscling him and putting hard punches on his cranium? I don't know but I'm picking class to prevail.

After their last fights, it is obvious Frampton is now the favourite.

Framptons got nice footwork and nice punches. I'm watching to see if his love for head movement gets found out and he gets chin checked. So far so good though.

 

if quigg isnt been agressive he isnt very good,i dont know weather they (quigg n gallagher) were trying new tactics or wether he was genuinly been cautios but until the k.down i wsnt impressed

 

quiigg..hes beat better opponants than framapton..framptons last fights have been nowhere near the standars of quiggs..should b belter tho!

 

still quigg for me, styles make fights and frampton doesnt seem to handle pressure well

 

I ain't seen the Quigg fight, but I'm not convinced getting dropped makes a bad chin. Although IIRC he has been sat down before?

If he recovered quickly enough I'll still pick Quigg. He's one dimensional but consistent in his approach, Frampton has only sporadically impressed me.

 

You can't count out Quiggs experience though

 

Always thought Quigg would win and I'm sticking by that although I think it would be a closer fight now

 

In the pro's yes, but he is still relatively inexperienced in my eyes because of his lack of amatuer bouts.

 

i thought 50/50 before, but now i'm 75/25 in Framptons favour.

Quigg showed a lot of heart and determination in the arthur fight, coming back from that KD but i'm not sure that will be enough against Frampton. i've got the feeling his defence isnt going to get any better either.

 

The knockdown woz only flash v arthur.don't look 2 much into that.if the fight gets made this year then quigg destroys him.big step up in class 4 frampton from who he fought 2 quigg.
