Moving up to 154 to beat Cotto is infinitely more impressive than dragging up feather fisted Bradley. Bradley may be undefeated, but he hasn't fought anywhere near the level of competition Cotto has. Cotto's resume shits on Bradley's and he's far more dangerous.
Cotto at 154 and it isn't even close, it would be a better win forMayweather than when he beat Hatton at 147 and he was a far superior to Bradley too.
:rofl:rofl u wish *******. Bradleys a smaller fighter with no fanbase and remembered for ducking khan. Cotto is a big name and WBA champ ranked #1 @ 154 lbs and floyd is fighting him at his own weight. much better win for floyd.
Cotto is an established name who will look good on Mayweathers record, Pacquaio already has his name so taking Bradleys 0 is better for him. They really are about the same at this point in time but time will tell on Bradleys career as to whether beating him will be a great win or just a solid win.
what does a bigger name have to do with who is getting more credit? maybe from the casual fans like yourself. i repeat, if pacquiao is fighting cotto at any weight, it would not be seen as a bigger win as a win over bradley right now.
Bradley Beat Peterson - went on to beat Amir Khan - was undefeated Miguel Vasquez - Current IBF Lightweight Champ - was undefeated (well defeated in his debut by Canelo) Junior Witter - only defeat was early in his career to Zab Judah. Devon Alexander - undefeated WBO and IBF Champ Luis Carlos Abregu - undefeated Maidana Pulled out of thier fight yea he ducked Khan which was a **** thing to do. But he beat Peterson beat Khan who Bradley beat easily. Bradleys resume is not as **** as people make out. Bradley for me is the much better win.
casual fan? ok *******. did u ignore everything i said? Cotto is a much more respected fighter then bradley is right now and accomplished more than him. bradley has never fought above his weight before. Cotto is ranked #1 @ 154. Pacquiao beating bradley gets as much credit as floyd would fighting against guerrero. bradley is still great fighter tho and its a good win.
Bradley is undefeated so I would say him but no doubt as per usual I expect Pac to expect to fight Bradley outside of his natural LWW weight class so yet again he has a huge advantage. Bradley cant hrt light welterweights so manny knows by coming in at welterweight he'll be able to walk right through him and will always win on the judges scorecards!
lol, the underlined statement alone gives a very strong indication that you are just a casual or floyd fan. pacquiao beating cotto again is not as good a win as pac beating an undefeated bradley.
Personally, outside of Mayweather, Bradley is the best fight that can be made for Pacquiao. He's undefeated, a long-reigning champion who showed dominance, and was one fight away from cleaning up his division. He's in his prime, he's got good technical skills, and he doesn't have obvious vulnerabilities that would be easy to exploit. He's a strong all-round fighter. I know people are going to go on about Marquez. But I would LOVE to see Marquez fight somebody else now. Marquez has made his name in the mainstream off of fighting one opponent. It reminds me of how Joe Frazier, after losing to Foreman, basically spent the entire golden age of Heavyweights going after Ali and nobody else. There were so many great fights he could have made that would have been amazing. Instead, he just kept running after Ali, then he wonders why he spent his entire life in his shadow. Is Marquez still a great fighter? Or does he just happen to know the anti-Pacquiao formula (that seems to work on everybody but the judges)? I would love to see his next fight against a top 140lbs fighter, or even against a top welterweight, and give Pacquiao-chasing a break for a fight or two. As for Cotto - I prefer that fight for Floyd than for Pacquiao. I was never under the impression that Cotto was "drained" in his fight against Pacquiao. He never said it, never alluded to it, and it's only 1lb under where he weighed for his previous fight. The fight would have turned out the same way at 147 as it did at 145, as it would at 154. It's a stylistic thing. Likewise, the stylistic dynamics would be such that Cotto would make an interesting opponent for Floyd. He's a strong body puncher, a stalker, and has a lot of strength. He'll be Floyd's first strong challenge in a few years.
That's not really the point, Pacquiao wouldn't have got credit unless it was at 154 because he's beaten him comfortably at welterweight before, similar to how Mayweather wouldn't get credit if he beat Marquez at welterweight again yet Pacquiao would. I'll use Mayweather as an example since he's fought neither of them but he or any other welter that hasn't fought either would get far more credit for moving up to 154 and fighting Cotto than bringing Bradley up to 147.
Both are OKAY fights, not great and not ****. Cotto lost some luster and Bradley is undefeated, but Cotto would whoop Bradley's ass and is the better fighter, so I vote Cotto.
