Absolutely not, we all wanted the mayweather fight, if no that then JMM. We know that will be a competitive match up. There is absolute no excuse for this fight. Arum wanted the Cotto match up definitely but the weight became an issue. Arum wasn't planning on matching Timid Tim this early vs Pacquiao.

 

I've read Bradley goes up to almost 170 in between fights so the fact that he's going to 147 isn't a big deal IMO.

As for picking him over Pac.. too early to say. If Pac is 100% focused n on his game then Bradley will more then likely get stopped, but if he takes Timbo lightly n still on his half/boxing half/politics bull**** he's in for a stunner. Bradley is a rugged, technical offensive fighter who is hungry and focused n has some pretty good names on his resume.

Bring up this thread again sometime close to fight night. I usually make my picks after I've seen all the interviews, training vids, 24/7's, sparring partners etc... For example I thought Pac would stomp JMM easily at first, but as time went on n I saw a way over confident camp Pacquiao promising KO's and a very quiet humble and hungry JMM focused n determined; I knew in my gut an upset was coming.

FTR I agree a 4th Marquez fight should be in order, but doesn't mean a Bradley fight is a walk in the park.

Majority of boxing fans who wanted mayweather or jmm bouts. Oh wait you didn't as you know your god had a chance to lose. Instead we get this farce of a match up.

 

I think Bradley can make it a tough fight for Pacquiao. He has incredible stamina, good defense, volume, and his forehead. If he manages to cut Pacquiao, this could really trouble him and pave the way for an upset.

As of now, the general consensus from other web sites and articles is that TB vs. Pac is a better fight then Floyd vs. Cotto. I doubt if you go to many websites other this this and fighthype.

My opinion is, both are solid fights.
