When people say Khan takes punches to prove a point about his chin, that’s not true.

It seems these days people make the mistake of believing that boxing on the outside automatically means you are out-boxing somebody.

A mate of mine who is half interested felt Khan won - based on the highlights shown on Sky Sports News etc, that he ''outboxed'' Peterson. I asked him to watch the full fight - who landed the harder punches, who dictated the terms of the action etc.... he said Peterson did.

Floyd Mayweather outboxed Ricky Hatton, but he didn't do it by flurrying and then getting out of range.... more by standing his ground and beating Hatton up on the inside.

His style makes for fun fights because he's got quick hands, he gets hit plenty and always looks vulnerable.... but talented, nah, not for me.
