As exciting as he is, Gamboa keeps fighting less and less every year...

It's a very good point, my friend, but he's close to high-profile boxer status...and how often each year do Pac and May fight? By the way, I'm not a fan of either of the latter.

He's 30 already, only fought 21 times. Always said it, he needs to get a move on if he wants to stake a serious claim at the top of the P4P rankings.

I agree. Gamboa is a top fighter and an exciting one, he should be fighting atleast 3 times per year at this point. His age and style doesn't leave him with too many more prime years, hope he starts to pick up the pace.

 

Gamboa, at this time, has probably maxed out his potential as a boxing attraction, and his promoter realizes this.

If the Rios fight happens, we know he is done as a headliner.

 

Tell his promoter, probably arum "forgot" about Gamboa ?
