Theres some news going around the net that cotto is getting 65-35 split with a $30 million figure, I find this very hard to believe since he made $5-6 million against Margarito Why would Mayweather offer him that much, I believe Cotto is more likely to get $10-12 million for this fight.

Because it's inaccurate, they gave ortiz $2.5 million? and the fight done 1.25 million homes I cant see the Cotto fight doing more than 1.6-1.7 million at most. Floyd would never offer him $30 million I call BS.

I dont know what Floyd is paying Cotto, does anyone know what Cotto got paid for the first Pac fight?

The truth of the matter is we (as fans) cant really know either, in alot of cases the actual boxers dont know what they are getting paid......see Shannon Briggs.

What I do think is that this would be his biggest pay day as he is now a free agent, plus he is fighting Mayweather who has one of (if not the) best deal in boxing currently.

Cotto and Mayweather are friends and have alot of mutual respect.

I'd expect Cotto to get a fair deal here.

I bet mayweather doesn't do his usual trash talking for this one.
