"considered poor" is US media hype. Pundits are scrambling to explain why there are only two (soon to be one) US HWs in the top 10. That's why it has to be weak era because being "owned" does not fly well with yanks and, of course, if Marciano was still alive he would have cleaned up the division but alas - the division is populated by blown up LHWs like Adamek who ironically is bigger than 90% of Ali opponents.

I don't buy that. media hype can't conceal the facts. if they were as great as some say, they would be heralded as such. I have more faith in myself and the majority of top pundits and fans who do not see them as some of, if not the greatest heavyweights of all time, and instead see them as good champions who've proven their mettle, and often times (in wlad's case), had their mettle utterly dismissed against much less than steller competition. also, "owned" doesn't fly well with any country who used to dominate a sport, but that doesn't take away from the fact that we give credit where credit is due, IF MERITED. also, you can compare fighters across eras but when evaluating their status historically my opinion stands that you can only do that based off of their resumes, not the fact that adamek is bigger than 90 percent of Ali opponents. Resume is all you have. I don't expect many agreements but at the very least you have to admit, on the whole the klitschkos are boring as hell for all of the "advantages" you guys love making clear they have over every other heavyweight in history. they don't exhibit great IN-RING qualities, aside from longevity which is moot considering their competition.

Vitali and Vlad have fought huge heavyweights. Derrick Jefferson, HBO media darling was 6 feet 6 inches tall, Vlad knocked him out in two rounds!!! Vlad stopped Bostice at MSG!!!!!!! Vlad stopped Thompson!!! Bostice was 6 feet 5 inches tall, Thomspon was 6 feet 6 inches tall. Vlad stopped Austin, who was 6 feet 6 inches tall and there were more!!! Vitali put Briggs into a hospital, he was no cruiserweight, huge person, 6 feet 4 inches tall. Vitali stopped Gomez, Cuban Olympic Champion, had over 300 amateur fights, Vitali stopped Solis, Cuban Olympic champion, gold medal, stopped him in the very first round with a right hook!!!!!!! Vitali came back after a four years layoff and beat Sam Peter for the WBC title. Vitali tried to get a fight with 7 feet 2 inch Valouev, but Don King would not allow such. Vitali and Vlad would have easily cleaned out the heavyweight division in any era, they are not only big but skilled!!! Wilder will not fight them, and he was the American media's hero.

Klitschko have been lied about over and over again from the American lying boxing media for many years now. I would watch their fights and read lies. Look at the boycotts by USTV! Then USTV shows a mismatch, such as an undefeated American fighter fight a wino from the alley..........................sad.....................good way to beat Euros'? Have Euros to fight in American boxer's home town, then cheat with home town cooking, as in Khan/Peterson fight, a fight in which Peterson refused to give a rematch because he's afraid, well, this is boxing, fight the best out there, but not Peterson. Alexander cheated Kotelnik, and Matthysse for sure and we will see Maidana cheated also. Euros should never fight in America. When will they learn? All they have to do is read the lying propaganda. Khan was a fool to not have rematch clause and he should have known he would be cheated, just common sense........

They're a couple of good lil fighters.

Both would make solid fringe contenders/gate keepers in most pre-2000's era's.

I have V.K. as a solid top-10 ATG heavyweight champion and I also rate Wlad Klit up high, but more like top-12...

Wlad seems to own better skills, but he lacks the mental and physical make-up that seems to naturally grasp a real fighter like V.K. who has very bad intentions once in the ring...

The yanks really believe their own propaganda, huh? It may work on some people, but on others that have seen enough to know that "weak eras" are just BS excuses, that won't fly.

You are a guy who picked Abdusalamov to beat Arreola. I have nothing more to say here. Idiot fanboy.:patsch:-(

bad intentions dont translate into being a top 10 HW.

Wladimir is the more accomplished and better fighter. He is in the top 10. But to rate VK who's legacy is based on a loss to Lennox Lewis in the top 10 is just ****ing stupid. He doesnt even belong in the top 20, maybe 30.

Yes, we know that Wlad was KO'd by Sanders, and sliced up by Lewis' glove (and that one was suspicious, as were several other Lewis fights...and who inspected Lewis' gloves? Nobody, that's who, and Vitali had, as far as I know, never even been cut at all either before nor since, including his kick boxing career..and he was, by the way, ahead on all the cards in that fight)...and both fights took place nine years and many fights ago.

And who do you think was better? You think we can't google up some ugly pictures of them too?

Of course the haters ignore the most salient parts of my response, especially the fact that the heavyweight championship is far more truly a world championship today than it was in the past.

oh so now you pull out some conspiracy theories??:patsch:lol: lewis had plaster hands now?:patsch:rofl He beat Vitali fair and square. Why wont you accept that?

tell me what ATG has either one of the Klitschko brothers beaten to be considered the greatest HW boxers of all time? Who?

You don't even know what "conspiracy theory" means. They teach them to chant that when confronted by facts that are not pre-approved by the talking heads on their tv set.

Wlad threw many uppercuts against Peter because Peter's style called for it. He also knocked him out with an uppercut. Wlad is also well known to have a devastating left hook, although it's also well known that he doesn't throw it as often as he should.
