Why does Margo get a shot at Chavez Jr? What has he done at 160? Infact what has he done at 154? :huh

He doesn't deserve a shot. And he hasn't done anything exceptional at either wieght. But he is a big name, a mexican, and a test for the YOUNG Chavez.:thumbsup

Two out of three. Margarito at this stage and at that weight is not a test for Chavez or anyone else really.

Just watch the Zbik fight and tell me Jr would have a chance against Martinez. Not a ****ing hope. He knows it, his team knows it, his promoter knows it. Can't wait for this hypejob to be exposed.

Let me add that an easy(80% chance of winning) Margorito fight would likely bring more money to Chavez than a difficult(30% chance of winning) Sergio fight would.

It's good business for Jr, and he'll still likely fight Sergio before the end of 2012.:thumbsup

Ok then. So really Margo shouldn't get a shot, we should have some more meaningful fights instead.

Chavez Jr is (at least on paper) a world champion he should be fighting other world champion callibre opponents ONLY.

Not to mention how do we know Margo can make 160 and even if he can make 160 can he compete with a guy who will weigh 180 on fight night? Ijust dont see any reason to make this fight unless its to further line Bob Arums pockets.

Chavez JR is already popular he doesn't need a "name" on his resume.....

I vote Sergio next or one of the other champions like Pirog.

I see it exactly the opposite. Yeah, Pirog or Martinez would be BETTER fights for young Jr to take, but I wanna see Margarito sent permanently packing, and the $$$ a chavez fight could make him just might be enough to get him to take the risk.

No doubt in my mind that Jr would KO Margocheato inside 6.:deal

Be schooled by Margarito? That is top notch humiliation.

Margarito-Chavez could be a competitive fight if they allow Margarito to use loaded wraps and actually conduct post-fight drug testing? But it's likely to be the reverse.

Unfortunately, I agree. Daddy's Boy against smaller, in-house fighters for a while.
