why wont dirrel fighting bute in canada, besides that andrade fight, were bute got a long count, i havent really seen that many robberies in canada. hopkins went to canada twice, and got a fair decisions both times. and why should bute go to america, after fight like marquez vs [url]Pacquiao 2 times, and fight like williams vs lara, i mean there are just ass many if not more robberies in americe, then canada. Man, I'm a big fan of Bute but I don't give an f why Dirrell isn't coming here or why he isn't going there. Bute and his team's job is to make a great fight in April. That's all.
For once, I agree with Bute's camp that the fight should be in Canada. It can't bring in similar revenue anywhere else, Bute does have a trinket on the line, and the fight is just probably more important for Dirrell than it is for Bute. Plus, let's say Dirrell puts up a good fight and comes up short on the scorecards; the hometown decision card is there to be played.
Does it matter at all if he goes or stays as long as he'll fight a good one? If he can pull the fight in the kitchen of his apartment it's Ok with me (as long as the fight is recorded )
I really want to see this fight. Then when I think of it in my mind...it tells me it would be a stinker. Lots of posing and feints not much leather connected.
Agreed. I'm pretty sure Dirrell doesn't like the prospect of a possible loss. I think he is looking to build himself up into a factor financially. He has a ways to go.
The fastest way to build him up would be for him to beat Bute; something he can do on a really good night. He'll be an underdog no matter where the fight takes place; he might as well take the money in Montreal.
IF Bute is to travel I'd still like Froch and England better, unless Ward has a chance of mind similar to that showed after he won the Super Six.
Why won't Bute fight outside his hometown, isn't this what people **** on Ward for...fact of the matter is Bute has more hometown fights than Ward/Dirrell combined. That said, I have no problem with the fight being in Canada, it's just the double standard gets old.
