    :bbb :thumbsup

Instead of going to a decision, Mayweather picks it up in the 9th, starts to rip Cotto with uppercuts and the fights stopped due to excessive cuts and bleeding from Cottos mouth.

Floyd is going to outbox him the same as he does everyone else. Some people think his legs are shot because he chooses to stand in the pocket and fight, but if he runs he's accused of not fighting. He's damned if he do and damned if he don't, either way he's going to win the fight.

Cotto makes it competitive for 4 rounds. People will think he has a chance.

    Runs for 5-8 rounds

Mayweather steps it up and gets a UD.

    116-112

Mayweather will show the better jab with a variety of them ranging from flickers to stabs to the body. It'll be the beginning of the end when Floyd outjabs Cotto(e).

Cotto will take either round one or two. He will lose two of the first three rounds.
Rounds 4-7 it will be competitive but then Floyd takes over/breaks him down. Cotto might get one of the Championship rounds.
    8-4 116-112 Floyd.

If Cotto(e) wins any of the first two rounds, it's most defly round 2. Mayweather has historically taken round 1s.

I expect this to go roughly the same way Cotto/Clottey (or DLH/Mayweather) went. Minus the headbutt cut and knockdown. A close but clear (possibly controversial) win for Floyd.

    Activity vs. Accuracy.

Floyd's go to punch will be the straight right hand. Floyd doesnt have the power nor output to stop Cotto. And you will finally see a fighter with more strength than Floyd in there. Floyd will get punked into the ropes more than we're accustomed to seeing, but Cotto will have limited success. This will though tip some rounds in favor of Cotto because of the "ring generalship" involved.

Keep in mind Floyd isn't the type of pressure fighter that Cotto fails against and if anything Cotto has made a career out of beating down boxer types whether it's speed, movement, or defense. He has toppled them all. One of this calibur? Hmmm...we shall find out.
