Jorge Arce is, as expected, next in line to face new WBO super bantamweight titlist Nonito Donaire, according to manager Cameron Dunkin:

“Arce is next,” Cameron Dunkin told Philippine News’ Truth Esguerra. “We have an agreement already, and he’s got to fight Arce. And we have an agreement in principle with the Japanese guy (Nishioka), so he’s got fights ahead of him. After that we’ll look at [WBA champ Guillermo] Rigondeaux, of course.”

But they are also concerned about Donaire's hand, so look out for this

Nonito will probably get a sectacular KO over Arce. Arce comes to fight and Nonito will inevitably clip him.

This is extremely gay. I wanted either Rigo, or Nishioka. But I guess Top Rank want Donaire to look good against a past prime Arce

I told you guys Giant killer only wants the Titans of the lower weights. I really wish Nonito would avenge Viloria and Mayols butt kickings to Nino Romero. It wasnt fair for Nino to pick on those little guys and the Giant Killer would even the score so I can sleep at night.

It will be a decent payday against an established name. Arce comes forward and loves to mix it up, so there should be some good action. If the fight is in SoCal, I'll go.

Donaire-Arce would be a fun fight but one where Donaire would be a big favorite. Arce has the kind of style that would force Donaire to open up and probably stop Arce. I don't mind an Arce fight and if Donaire were to fight 4 times this year than he's fine. That would be two top 10 jr feather's in a row for Donaire and thats not a bad start but not a sizzling one either.

But, I'm skeptical Donaire fights more than 3 times this year so I'd prefer he went straight to Nishokia and then look to face Mares or Rigendoux before moving up to face one of Arum's 3 big featherweigts-Lopez, Gamboa, and Garcia.

I wouldn't call facing Arce a waste of time but I'd like to see more from Donaire. Facing either Arce or Vasquez would be fine but not both, Donaire should be looking to bigger fights at this point in his career. He's faced a number of solid opponents the last 4-5 years but only two real top guys in Darchinyan and Montiel. He doesn't need anymore of the second tier guys and should be looking at facing as many top level guys as possible.

I'm cool with that, Arce will come to fight and it should be fun while it lasts. As for Nishioka/Rigondeux, I don't care which order they come in as long as they come (if he keeps winning of course)

Even if he gets beat I'd be very much up for Nish V Rig. Some good fights to be made in and around the division.

if donaire is to only have 3 fights at sbw then wv2, arce and nishioka is actually a good trio of fights.

He then has the options of mares, moreno, rigo, dib, caba, gamboa, john, salido.

Basically has the world at his feet providing he beats arce and nishioka.

Let's just say in order of entertainment:
    Donaire vs. Arce
    Donaire vs. Nishioka
    Donaire vs Rigondeaux

I don't mind this fight, Arce is great to watch and comes to fight but unfortunately Donaire will just break him down.

I disagree. Two mismatches and one decent fight does not make for a good trio.

Donaire-Nishioka better not be for The Ring belt nor the lineal title if Rigondeaux is still undefeated when they meet. It especially should not be for those titles if Rigondeaux takes on someone halfway decent in the interim.

One thing is for certain Arce will snap Donaire out of his lethargy and will come to fight. Donaire is overrated.
