I actually think Junior can stop Margarito. His eye is jacked so it won't hold up to a 180+ pound man beating on it.
This is by no means a gimme fight for Chavez Jr. Margarito will walk into the ring at about 170 lbs himself. Its a dangerous fight for Jr. You all have to take into consideration that he's having a hell of a time scaling in at 160 lbs, and this last fight against Rubio showed Chavez was holding back, making a conscious effort to conserve energy. I'm not so certain that in physical condition Jr. has been coming in his last couple of fights, he can keep up with the pace Margarito will set. I see it as a 50/50 fight imo, but I'm also one that am of the opinion that Margarito had Cotto right where he wanted him when they stopped the fight on him.
if margo's eye is completely healed (which i doubt)...he would have beaten cotto and chavez jr. on the same night.... but honestly, margo is done.....
Noone is silly enough to believe any of this so it must be a troll post. Marg is as shot as can be. He hasn't won a fight in about 4 years now! He's been stopped in 2 of his last 4 fights!
Rubio came into the ring at 171 and Chavez had no problems bullying him around the ring whenever he wanted. Add in the fact that Rubio has much better power at this weight and could apply pressure more effectively, plus the fact that Margarito will be even slower coming in that heavy, and I have no idea how Chavez is supposed to have a tough time.
Yes there are people, because they hate Chavez Jr. and a minority that really believes that Margo is still a live challenger.

You must think highly of Chavez Jr. then. You must think Jr. is in the class of Pacquiao and Cotto to think he's a gimme to beat Margarito.
