i believe Arum has never wanted a showdown with Floyd. he was just riding Floyds name to make the world think that a fight would happen. why risk your cash cow losing to Floyd, a non Top Rank fighter? it doesnt make sense buisness-wise.

I think he always knew mannys chances against Floyd were slim and the JMM fight showed the world that it might be a mismatch. Now, We have a Pacquiao Vs. Bradley fight coming up. Bradley is young and determined with a bright future and has a good chance of pulling off an upset.

Is Arum trying to Make Bradley the new TR star/cash cow? think about it, when u beat a superstar u become a superstar. i call it the De La Hoya affect. after Floyd and Manny beat DLH they became instant stars. Supposedly, Arum is trying to get Ariza fired. why would he want that?

I think Arum is hoping Bradley gets the W. Mannys getting old and hes almost ready to retire from boxing so he can be a congressman instead. Arum knows this so he probly wants one of his young fighters to take over the throne as the TR cash cow.

If Bradley is victorious, he'll probly feed pac to floyd afterwards. then, Bradley and Arum will use Floyds name to promote fights and call Floyd out one day and try to make the world think that floyd is scared/ducking(when they really have no intentions of fighting Floyd) then this whole Pac/May bull**** starts up again but with Bradley in the mix instead of Pac. thats just my opinion, what u think?

No. Bradley simply isn't a draw and likely never will be. His style is scrappy, and boring most of the time, and he doesn't really have the personality of say a DLH or Floyd outside the ring to make up for his non fan friendly style. He's too vanilla.

Nope, he'll probably try to milk Manny as much as he can. (And JMM-Pac 3 isn't the same dynamic as Floyd-Manny.)

why would he try to get pacquiao to lose? that would potentially deal a death blow to the most lucrative fight in boxing history, and arum's a leprechaun. even if he doesn't want the floyd fight for manny, manny losing at this point would depreciate his appeal.

i believe if pac loses to bradley arum would then be in a hurry to make a showdown with Floyd. no matter what, it will still sell. but in the process TR will have a new star, Tim Bradley.

Both Floyd and Pacquiao both did well enough in PPV before thier breaks.
    Bradley never did PPV
But you never know a win could really propel him.

    Are you ******ed?

Pacquiao and Mayweather are the only boxers doing 1m+ ppvs.
Most of your average fans know what Marquez did to Pacquiao, thrice... he still can't do half their numbers.

it all depends on the manner of the win, if he manages to win at all... if he wins in an ugly, fouling fight, which is most likely his only chance, then it's gonna do him no favours at all.
