If he wanted Pacquiao to lose, he would have had him fight Martinez by now. He's NOT giving Pacquiao fights that most people think he has a chance of losing. He has been a heavy favorite over everyone he's fought since Cotto. And if Arum wanted to create a new Top Rank star, he wouldn't try and do it out of someone as thoroughly dull as Bradley.

Bradley's going to get destroyed unless he gets away with a lot of heabutts in close, and then people here who were claiming he'd give Pacquiao a hard night or win will turn around and yell "Bradly's a bum!"

ehh, interesting theory but the superfight would lose tremendous appeal, and in turn, millions of dollars arum would rather have in his pocket, especially since so many people feel pacquiao received a gift in the marquez fight and stunk it up against mosley. a loss at this point would potentially end the appeal of a pacquiao mayweather fight because of a string of bad fights for pacquiao ending with a loss, and arum has to know that bradley could absolutely never achieve the cash cow status of pacquiao. not charismatic enough, not exciting enough stylistically, and no guaranteed fanbase.

He's doing what every promoter does, nothing new here though people are always clueless. He's keeping things in his stable, he's promoting/hyping them up so he might as well feed his work to someone in his stable to keep things going. As long as he has options within his stable, he's not going to look elsewhere.

He's just making sure he walks in with the star and walks out with the star.

Conspiracy theorists like mr.wigger over here actually believes he wants Pacquiao to lose in order to create a new TR star.

Arum would sell his own mother for the right price, but Manny Duckiao consistently does more than a million in ppv numbers, there is no way he wants that to go away. Add to that, the fact that Pacquiao has the worst contract of a big time fighter in the sport today. Arum is cashing in big time everytime Pacquiao fights.

To fans of boxing these two were already stars. De La Hoya was a crossover boxer. Loved by non fans too. So when they beat him, non-boxing fans found out who they were. But both boxers were PPV draws before De La Hoya. By the time Manny fought Oscar, he fought the great Mexicans (MAB, JMM, Eric Morales) And Floyd had his memorable fights too.

Neither has CLottey. Pac will carry the fight and I think Bradley has the potential to steal the show.
