Of course he will, it's his life/job. That's what any successful promoter would do. Hype up a fighter and make sure he's feeding him to guys in his stable because IF he loses, another one in his stable(who he must make sure is signed for long enough) gets all the credit and he keeps hosting more and more fights. That's how it's supposed to be done, which is why he's the best promoter in boxing at the moment with the richest stable.

I wouldn't blame Manny Pacquiao for anything. He's PAYING Arum to do his job, Pacquiaot does his. If you don't like the decisions being made, blame Arum. HE brought Pacquiao all these big fights and eventually got him to P4P#1 with an ATG resume despite the politics behind it and fighters in his stable, he got him the best available and there's no denying that. Of course, credit goes to Pacquiao for winning and no one can deny his ATG ability/will either.

 Pacquiao losing to bradley wouldnt hurt him as much as u think. u act like he wouldnt ever be on PPV again after a loss. hell, Cotto loss to pac but ended up selling 600k against Margarto. DLH lost to Floyd but ended up selling a mill against pac. Pac will still sell well but in the process there will be a new TR star, Tim Bradley. when u beat a super star u become a superstar

The problem is Floyd would not want to fight Pac (after losing to both JMM and Bradley). I think it's very possible for Bradley to become a PPV star; it just depends on how well he promotes himself. Before Floyd broke into mainstream he was considered just as boring as Bradley. I clearly remember Larry Merchant once say something like, "This guy (Floyd) wants to be as big as De La Hoya. I highly doubt it he can do it with such a cautious style and small fanbase."

My feeling is Arum is using Bradley as a good option and nothing more. Every promoter needs a go-to-guy when option A is not available. Arum knows he already has future superstars in Donaire and Gamboa and Rios. But hey, I'm rooting for Bradley. I hope he over-achieves and surprises people.

Just a ridiculous suggestion. Not surprised it came from the resident ******. Arum stands to gain more when Pac wins. And he already up and comers to make into potential cash cows. He's been doing this for decades, he knows what he's doing and how to do it.
