For fans of the sweet science like myself Floyd is a phenom and we love the awesome display of skills as much as a blood and guts toe to toe carnage fest. But not until Floyd beats his contemporaries just like Robinson and Ali did he's not getting that respect. He knows what he has to do, but hasnt done it. He beats Martinez and Pacquiao world can finally agree he's the boxing messiah of today. Till then to many he's still a charlatan. Once he beats Pacman and Martinez he'll go from one of the most hated to the most loved. No other way around it. He says all paths lead to Floyd, but there's a mountain called Manny Pacquiao and Mt Everest called Sergio Martinez waiting for him to climb. Robinson and Ali been there done that. Floyd hasn't done it because he hasn't even been there.

^ This , you dont become great for looking impressive in the ring, it's who you beat and what you accomplished.

Floyd as a boxer is incredibly overrated anyway.

I'm certainly not a Floyd fan, but I got to give credit to him. He always dominates or finds a way to win the fights. I would not put him in one sentence with the great SRR, but Money's skills are ATG material.

    Agree and disagree.

He needs to beat Pac to conclude his career. Still wouldn't rank him near SRR though, more like SRL. Top 20.

His boxing skills are sublime, everyone can see that. The dude has a detestable personality yet a worldwide fanbase for a reason.

Floyd could've beaten Manny and Martinez and i don't think he would've gained too much respect. All people would've said was he beat up one guy who was highly overrated....and beat another guy who was tailor made to lose to him

What r u talkig about, you mentioned Pac and Floyd's names in every other sentence.

No need to get defensive fanboy, this is how I've always felt about him. His boxing skillz' have always been overrated. He's very good but he's not godlike like you make him out to be. Watch more boxing and you'll learn that.
