Is there a better combination puncher above Welter then Chad Dawson?

I read an interview recently where Iceman John Scully says he thinks that no one puts their punches together better then Chad Dawson and with the exception of JMM he may be right, are there any other quality combination punchers about? I've seen Floyd unleash some nice combo's but he's very inconsistent and doesn't do it often then there's Pacquiao who throws unorthodox combos aswell.

    Nope.

Not Mike Tyson, Joe Louis, James Toney, Roy Jones, Sugar Ray Robinson, Evander Holyfield, etc..

Bad Chad Dawson is surely the greatest combo puncher ever above 147.

he's obviously talking about active fighters I think Martinez is a better combination puncher but it can be argued.

I think so. His punches and overall skill level is beautiful to watch.

I'm not the boxing historian that others on this site are but...his combinations look very good to me. I can never understand the amount of vitriol hurled at him on this site.

    Thanks, I try.

He's up there, I like how he mixes it up from body to head.

He's just frustrating as a fan.

Has a lot of talent but can't seem to put it all together.

I think he showed up vs BHOP. Of course, we don't know how he would have handled the later rounds, but it sure looked like he had Bernard's number.

He has insane handspeed and good combos but he rarely uses it which is very frustrating. Would be a fan if he didn't look like he was daydreaming in the ring either. Use to like him but got too frustrated with him though I wish him the best but hope Hops outperforms him. Very good fighter and could be great if screws weren't missing.....

When he lets them go, I'm not sure who else active is better than him at it... But he doesn't do it often enough and (justifiably) is criticized for it here and elsewhere... Not sure how many will agree to that statement until he ups his activity in the ring more.
