Leonard vs Hearns I Leonard vs Duran I Whitaker vs Chavez Pacquiao vs. Marquez II All #1 vs #2 Mayweather vs. Mosley was #2 vs #3 Pacquiao vs. Marquez III was #1 vs. #3 If B-Hop vs. Roy II happened in 2003 like it should have, that would have been #1 vs #2 (because he wasn't officially ranked, you can't really consider Mayweather vs. Marquez even though it was unofficially the #1 vs #2, #1 vs #3, or #2 vs #3, depending on who you ask)
um depending on the timing, Pac-Marquez II, just after Floyd retired I guess There were a few instances where it could have been made but didn't Floyd-Pac Floyd-Wright (2005) Bhop-Jones(2002-2003) Mosley-Trinidad (2000) Past those, these occured DLH-Whitaker (1997) <-- Jones was #1 and got DQd in March, DLH #2 fought Whitaker #3 in April Whitaker-Chavez (1993) Hearns-Leonard Duran-Leonard
Difficult to say, as published p4p rankings are a relatively new phenomenon. Some potential candidates, but all very subjective: McGovern-Gans Langford-Ketchel Ross-McLarnin trilogy Louis-Conn I Robinson-Basilio I
Have to think Toney-Jones was for p4p yes? Jones was very hot and Toney just used prince charles williams as a tune up....too bad the fight sucked...
This thread just goes to show you how badly the fans are getting ****ed, with No Vaseline, by Floyd, Manny, and the parties involved by them not facing each other.
Whitaker was P4P #1 at that point. I think Toney was #2 and Jones was #5, but I wouldn't swear to it.
About Mosley. Yeah I believe you, was just wondering why he was still in there considering he hadn't fought for well over a year.
