I agree foreman can be overrated, very much so in h2h! But for his achievements hes a top 10 lock for sure!

No he made 2 title defences in the 70's. In the 90's he was a circus freak like Valuev. Lost to anyone who had any ounce of skill whatsoever, and had a fluke win over a lite heavy after being beaten up for every other second. I dont count his second career very highly.

Guys like Dempsey, Sullivan,Johnson, Jeffries were ahead of their time, they revolutionised the sport, especially Dempsey.

Anyone who has Foreman over Frazier based on achievemnets is on so much drugs it aint funny.

    It's actually a good list.
Can't argue with any of the names, though people are bound to nitpick the order.

I'd probably have at least half of those names in my top 10, so I can't say it's bad at all.

Yes thank you, these guys achievements are through the roof. I agree some are interchangeable, impossible to do a perfect list.

you make good points! but at the end of the day he did gain the title back 20 years later. i actually think he was somewhat better in the 90s as he had learned alot and was able to go the full 12 without gasing.
anyway, where does lennox stand with you and holyfield out of interest? as i would have both of those over wlad. not saying wlad aint great, just not top 10.

Worst list i've ever seen and that includes Bert Sugar, please give me a good reason why Dempsey is number 1?

Lennox is right behind Wlad with Holmes I think. Did everything right I just think Wlad would've taken him which gave him the 10 spot. Holyfield after Holmes but before Liston and Foreman, all heart Holyfield but Wlad is just a better all around boxer at heavy. Lewis could be top 5 based on what he achieved and I would have no argument with that.
