In not so many words at least:

    Dana's twitter:

"@carloscondit @malkikawa the rumour is true. Carlos did accept the fight today and Carlos is coming in on Friday not Thurs"

In response to requests for a rematch with Diaz.

    interesting...

Cant wait to see it. One thing to consider is Nick Diaz is outstanding in rematches 2-0 in rematches vs Jeremy Jackson and then he got revenge on KJ Noons.

I wanted Diaz to win really badly but if he won a controversial decision there would be no rematch. And I don´t know why it should go different than the first fight, honestly I don´t think that Diaz will be able to win he will get outpointed again

So if Diaz sneaks by in the rematch and they are 1-1 will they have a third fight ? This isn't fair to Condit. How many times does he have to earn the right to fight GSP ?

I'll be picking Condit to take out a decision, but I won't be confident in it.

Condit may make as much money in this rematch as he would against GSP, and if Condit wins again, his money for the GSP fight will surely be larger than what it would be if he just held out till the GSP fight.

As things are now, most people are assuming that GSP will destroy Condit, so it is hardly going to be a box office bonanza.

A 2nd Condit win could change all that, and if Condit loses to Diaz, he would no doubt get to fight the winner of GSP and Diaz.

Diaz will. According to both Diaz brothers they have never lost a fight.

I'm willing to bet if its a close fight and Diaz gets the nod, Condit won't get his rematch.

This seems more like being upset by the result rather than having a competitive rematch. Diaz vs. GSP has to happen apparently.

they should make this **** non-title...win lose draw, condit still gets his GSP shot

if he beats diaz again and beats GSP..then he can do whatever he wants

he beats diaz and loses to GSP...back to contender role (or GSP rematch if it's close or he got robbed)

loses to diaz beats GSP...then 3rd diaz fight for real title (he would be champ but 1-1 vs diaz)

loses to diaz loses to GSP....back to contender

but it isn't his fault GSP is gimped up

*edit: they can really play these three off of each other for awhile

Yeah, cos he showed so much ability to adapt and adjust during their last encounter.

Diaz is clearly a UFC boy now then, praise for Condit for fighting again.
