What should Fury dress as when enters the ring? Bottle? Duck? Chicken?

How about Price-Chisora in May? (assuming Chis loses vs Vit-Klit) Anyone think Maloney would have any interest in that? Probably not.:think

    doubt he'd be interested.

despite the duck here being purely Tyson's, lets not forget that Maloney has matched Price pathetically so far and its doubtful he'll go after anyone half decent now.

I agree but i think fat Mick thinks they would look worse if they did that, now he can try to hide behind the "i made them a big offer but they didn`t want to know so we move on to bigger things" bull****.

I think to be honest you're just looking for excuses to suit your own agenda personally. 99% of people on here want to see the fight right now and both men are in a position where logically the only fight they should be looking for is vs each other. Price has got his shot on merit with winning the eliminator and Fury is a new champion who has yet to defend his British belt. I don't see how them wins over Firtha & Pajkic have suddenly propelled him above British level; in fact I'd say they were quite a bit worse than his win over Chisora to win the belt.

You say Degale-Groves 'worked' because they were at the same level but do you honestly think there is a big gap between price & Fury in any way? In fact most people on here have Price as favourite despite being the challenger so I think that lays claim to the fact that it is a very intriguing matchup.

And having a big heavyweight fight between 2 unbeatens who have a grudge with each other on terrestrial tv would be fantastic for the sport. I don't see how in any way to be honest you can say this isn't the right time for this fight.

Sad that the British title isn't valued more than this. I don't know why they couldn't have worked something out to fight but they didn't want to really did they. What would have been wrong with showing it on both Five and Sky Sports channels like ITV and Screensport did on occasion. There'd be twice as much pre-fight coverage. I wonder if the promoters even attempted to come up with a new deal for a one-off fight with their respective tv channels. But who knows. All I know is that would have been a massive night for British boxing. Shame.

I just hope Fury gets sparked.

Conning the fans this is! Why all the build up, terrestrial tv, fancy name, so he can avoid his rival?

    Coward.

Groves had the CW belt & DeGale had the British at the time iirc, both had had about the same amount of fights at the same level.

Fury is top10 world ranked & is looking for a similar level opponent. Price is the English champ & should be fighting someone like Sexton next.

Team Price are extremely disappointed that Chicken Fury has gone clucking away.

Hennessy had earlier offered 100k for the fight to take place on channel 5 but we thought this was not inline with the purse bids that all the promoters in the UK were bidding for.

Under Prices Promotional contract with myself David was guaranteed more money.

So as it seems, they don't deny the 100,000 offer.

They have every right to reject it of course.

But still, it looks like Price could have had this fight (for reasonable money) if he really wanted it.

Fury got £120k as challenger for Chisora's titles, and Price is a much bigger sell than Delboy.

Is this £100k offer particularly good?

The £100k was a counter off from what Price's team and sky offered fat Mick.

    Wallett,
Price might be a harder opponent on paper than Chisora was but I doubt he is a bigger attraction. Del Boy has a decent profile and did way before the Fury loss.
Price and Fury is a fabulous fight. Shocked to hear that Price could make more than 100 grand per fight with Frank. I'm assuming that Pricey must be a millionaire from boxing and that is brilliant.

    Adios.
