Ill give him credit for beating zibik, but im pretty sure that theres atleast 7 other fighters out there at 160 that would have had a way easier time then jr did with zbik
after a few tune up fights pavlik would ko him. right now the only thing pavlik would be able to compete with him in is drinking and getting duis.

As long as it is contested in a jurisdiction where the athletic commission isn't corrupt and inept this will end badly for Junior.

Pavlik can't make 160 anymore. Or I doubt he can. He'll look like a zombified skeleton at 160 if he does make it. Good idea though. It can be for the WBC Belt and, instead of a monetary purse, a year's supply of beer from whatever brand is sponsoring the event.
Pavlik toyed with Rubio and carried him because the fight was in Youngstown and he didn't want to end it too quickly. Even then Rubio quit on his stool knowing what was coming. Jr has a fight against Rubio in a state where the commission doesn't do drug testing and the sanctioning body "forgets". Put Pavlik/Junior on under a legit commission and we know the outcome.
If pavlik beats someone like Andy Lee, Murray, Quillin, Geale then I'm om with it however if the fight to be made now Pavlik gets one last pay check and loses a close fight, retires, becomes an even heavier alcoholic and dies at about 45.
